Opinion of an anime watcher only (at start). Basically i was very hyped for season 2 because i really enjoyed season 1. However with the beginning of the new season i literally got spammed with lightnovel stuff on RUclips (for what ever reason) which basically said that the Protagonist is a kek in manga, a genius in the anime and a literal God in the lightnovel. With all those onesided opinions on how better the lightnovel is compared to the anime, i decided to give it a chance. I never read a lightnovel before and i really disliked (now not more) the medium where i cant even see on whats going but one of the main reasons why i actually started to read it, besides all of this youtube spam, was the poor quality in some of the episodes what really disappointed me. Anyways i started to read the lightnovel from the start, altough i saw everything of season 1. The reason for it was basically that i was very curious on how different it will be compared to the anime. I began my lightnovel journey around 1 week ago and i am at volume 3 now and let me tell u, u cant even compare the LN to the anime. It was very shocking to me realising on how much stuff they simply ignored or didnt bring up in the anime. Everything is way more in depth in the LN and way more interesting. Also i really enjoy to read all those thoughts from ayanokoji, because it really connects me to the charakter (what is not possible in the anime because everybody likes him only because he is bad ass). To sum this up, i will continue to watch all anime episodes but i will also for sure finish this lightnovel. I cant belive how good it is. I will possibly buy even some LN books, because its really exhausting to read everything on a small phone and i want to support this great artist who wrote the story.
Yeah not to meantion how you would want A LOT of scenes you want to be animated which I hope will be animated but in the light novel the build up to sometihng big gos through a lot of chapters which cant be done in a few episodes :o
bro you don't even know Kei's character just like ryuuen is also done dirty. Now she looks like a girl who fell in love with ayanokouji cause he sexually assualted her. In the LN you can see how calculated she is and how she is able to read the room quickly and understand how the environment around her is changing. She isn't even in love with ayanokouji right now in the storie she is just worried that he will replace her with sato and that makes her anxious. Also in season the pool scene and the person helping ayanokouji stop the boys from peeping was Kei. He didn't trust horikita with it cause he thought she would cause a ruckus and report them to the school and he didn't want that. He also trust Kei more than horkita due to him having something over her and could destroy if she steps over the line. That also shows more of ayanokouji's character and he also had a different agenda and that was to change her point of view of him. Also about katsuragi there was a lot left out in 4.5 that will tell you he went up to ayanokouji they are atcually friends. Highly recommend you read everything or just read 4.5 which was skipped in the anime it's kinda important to the plot or makes it smoother
