True lol. I’m exceptional with it, but that’s because I’ve been playing it for a while now and I even got ACE qualification for free on the 23M because I’ve been doing so well in it for so long. Once it got the R-13M1s, it became a great plane to fly, but after all of the buffs that it’s received, it’s become extremely fun and very usable in the current Meta. I’ve been reliably getting 2-4 kills in matches that are won for about a month now, and I’ve been using the tactics that DEFYN showcased in this video such as taking 20 minutes of fuel and then going MIL power with a little bit of first stage afterburner to improve dogfighting performance, and I’ve gotten accustomed to using the R-60Ms wih R-23Ts the same way that DEFYN has. However, most other Level 100 players will probably suck ass with the 23M because of its steep learning curve and unforgivingness. Edit: My IGN is Killcodemonster-@psn (Yes, I play on PS4 and still clap Phantoms with the 23M) if you want to verify my claims and stats.
0:42 you can increase or decrease the manual sweep without leaving auto mode. It will tell you that it cant be changed because you're in auto, but it is actually changing in the background.

If they tank the winrate Gaijin will drop the BR and repair cost making this plane OP as hell 🤣 That’s assuming they don’t just force it to stay at 11.0 because that’s where the 23M is.

I havent noticed a huuge learning curve with the mig23mf and i am by expirience in jets a complete noob and probably will get hated for buying a jet and being a lvl 25, but its really fitted my play style. I can regulary get 1-2 kills per battle, so from my perspective of a complete lvl24 noob it is rather good, i really really enjoy this aircraft and i do not regret buying it.
Will sell this thing 100% and hopefully gain, as for every other event sh*t, a lot of gaijin coins: simply because you've said "dont skip this one"! thanks defyn, amazing job as always, happy 2020+2
Market price is kinda capped at $50 initially, since that's all you have to spend to GE it. The ease of getting this plane means it won't be valuable until it's scarce, which won't be for a while. Unless you really want the like 30 gjn you're gonna get for it you should probably just play it.

They'll only add that in a few months to a year going by how long it took for Germany to get a MiG-21Bis so that makes the decision to sell a bit tricky

But that is my expectation. Reality might be within a year. But they were recently doing lot of Mig-23s, 27s so they just need to finish it with ML and BN and can move to another aircraft in the line.

The third thing is that I can grind the Soviet MiG-21M/MLD, and sell the German one to buy some premiums next discount times. Anyway I will get Su-22 in couple of weeks so I can check out the toptier gameplay and finally decide what to do
You should not IMO decide whether or not you like top tier by playing the SU22 as it's very bad in air RB. Getting the german mig23 will not be much better, it's a pretty good plane, but there will be a lot of noobs playing that thing, and the team will just loose very quickly. I would recommend selling it but that's just my opinion.

No, you are a top tier jet with no flares and a worse cannon (the gsh23L is much worse the m61 Vulcan in pretty much every way) and both only get primitive missiles
That's how much it should go for, people will probably undersell it like usual. If it ends up going for the same amount as the PFM, a plane far worse and with practically identical availability, then my already diminished confidence in the playerbase will be non existent.
Eh yes and no, you can only grind rank 7 and 6 with it in the end and Germany at those tiers is pretty dry. Maybe in the future. It's good for grinding what's there in those ranks though.

Either a bug in it’s flare resistance or you are trying to flare against the radar version where chaff does not work most of the time
