Hi, there were quite few water cisterns in Gamla, both inside the wall and outside and they can be still seen today. There were cultivated areas on the hill across Gamla brook, so that the farmers left to work there at the beginning of the week and returned at the end. There will be a dedicated video on the income source of Gamla's residents uploaded later this year.
Conquer is a verb and consequently makes little sense as used in the title of this video. I suggest editing the title to read, "The Conquest of Gamla by the Romans".
Nicely done! Thanks for preparing. Very interesting and insightful.
Were there😂 water cisterns and where were they please?. Also was there any cultivated areas nearby? Thank you
