The best 7 I’ve climbed on Eastern grit is China in your Hands at the bottom of Gardoms. Really cool moves and fits the bill as a less well travelled classic.
Early Doors at Curbar. The direct and far superior finish to Gorilla Warfare! And Jerry's Traverse at Cratcliffe - not often you find a campus problem on grit.
Really nice video, thanks for sharing the journey!! The audio is a bit off sometimes: in the first section it's only coming from the left audio channel, and another section only from the right channel. Would be even nicer if it was even :)
love this series! for your whole competitive career, i was hoping when you were done competing, you'd make videos of your outdoor adventures. thanks Shauna and Ned
I love seeing you back and sharing your life and passion with us. :) The video is very nice but the background music was a little bit too loud for me (non-native speaker).
I discovered your channel during lockdown, when you were posting mobility videos with a friend of yours. I'm super-happy that you are posting again! You rock. I wish you the best for your future endeavours.
What a great vid. Was only saying the other day that bouldering vids and films get boring fast because there's never really any story arch and they're all shot the same. But this just sets a precedent for what bouldering and climbing films should be! Good to see you back on the rock 💪💪
So nice to see attention on climbs I can actually go and do! Will definitely be using this series as a guide of boulders to look out for when visiting new areas/places to go. Seeing people climb 8s is amazing and seeing you climb outside at your limit is something I'm super excited for. But having you properly showcase good quality climbs outside of that is really appreciated and I think many of us will get something more tangible out of it. Cheers Shauna, Ned and team, I'm looking forward to the rest of the videos!
Probably goes without saying, but looking forward to some Yorkshire highlights - Almscliffe, Caley and Brimham being my favourite areas (in no particular order because they're all amazing) :)
Super cool video, really enjoyed watching. Got me psyched to get out more and maybe try one of these as my first 7a. Always enjoyed watching you and hearing about your journey is both relatable and inspiring. 💪🏻❤️
What would be a good guidebook for the areas close to Sheffield? Planning a trip there and taking my new sister in law out for her first outdoor climbs. Would be good to try things from V0-V8ish for our group
the climbing when its sunny I get when trad climbing, because you want to at least feel comfortable when getting i to precarious situations, but bouldering and Sport? I like it nice and cold, no more than 15°C, went to stanage on the way through to scotland on a climbing Trip, in the Sun 20+°C, and was just wishing for dry Winter weather.
Hey, ideally you would drop in from the top but it is pretty tricky to find. We walked past the Renegade boulder and kept an eye on the hillside on the left and when you see it, you can find a path up to it. If you hit the Tombstone boulder, you have gone too far!
"Since the last time I went on youtube, a lot has happened" *goes to the olympics, gets married and has a kid* yeah I can see how that would qualify as a lot
"Was gonna top it out, but it was pretty dirty and scary up there"... spat my coffee out and watched Mellow vids instead 🤣 as if there aren't already enough eliminate problems without topouts out there. Is topping out a dying art? Genuine question.
The irony of not topping out Glass Slipper because you refuse to clean the top is hilarious. And how is that showing the best of the best the UK has to offer if you don't show the full thing in all its glory..
Which classic boulders did I miss? What should I aim to go back for around Sheffield when Grit season rolls back around again?

Eagle Stone is a super boulder in a great setting with so many amazing problems!
"It's a good job we're married" 😆
Great to start seeing the finished products after all the instagram teasers!
respect for considering the impact of bringing more traffic to overclimbed rock!

Welcome back! You are always so great to watch!

Loved this video, shot so beautiful and happy to see you climb again ❤ can’t wait for the next one in the series
Thank you!
Great video, love all the climbing, love the little glimpses of you being a mum, fab project. Sheffield very much rocks (sorry for the pun).

Super excited for all of the videos to come (hopefully ☺). Thanks!

Such an incredibly motivating and inspiring video!!
Really great Shauna - it has me inspired to try and tixk an outdoor 7a boulder for myself 👍
So glad your back !!!!! And with a baby boo !
So awesome ❤🎉
Come on! Let's go Shauna, stoked to see outdoor footage of UK.
Yay, you're back!
Awesome video!!!
Love the videoooo 😍

So enjoyable to watch! Thanks!
Love this! Let's see them all
That was awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Yes! Love this, looking forward to it. Great bouldering in Dorset, would be interested to see you do a few of the 7s there
We didn't make it to Dorset but we recently climbed in Devon and Cornwall. Aware of a lot of development on the Portland bouldering scene though!
Amazing! Yeah it’s a lot to cover, it seems to be, most of the time, a difficult approach to the coastal boulders as well.
Looks so neat ❤
Shauna 🥰

What knee issue did you have if you don’t mind me asking? I am battling meniscus issues!
I had an issue with the cartilage behind the patella. Knee issues suck! I hope you heal up quick!
Does anyone know how to find The Captain? Would be especially useful in relation to the topos in Rockfax (it's not in that book)!

Can we get a ukclimbing ticklist for these?
Hey! Yes, it is up and is here! www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/set.php?id=7188
What about the back problem`?

you kept your last name?
Why wouldn’t she?
