Nice thorough brake job. Getting ready to do mine. Strange that your tool wouldn't work to screw back in the calipers. Since I have the same block I will rent the caliper screw back tool the auto parts store has.
Caliper bracket bolts are torque-to-yield and must be replaced as described in the factory manual. They cost about $2.00 each. Don’t reuse them as shown in the video.
Bro you turned that with pliers..... Respect 😂 those can be pretty hard to turn.

Never hurts to re use the bolts. Quit being a baby.
I've always re-used the old bolts and never had a problem. I've only ever replaced if the bolts been stripped
You can reuse them as long as you use threadlocker. GM installs stretch bolts. Without threadlocker they "Can" back off.
