You know what dude, I don't even know you or your material except this song, this is the second video I've ever watched of yours, but that part where Jeff sent you the take and you reacted to it has me legitimately laughing, clapping, and with tears in my eyes for you. It's so fucking awesome and makes me incredibly happy for you, man. This song is flat out incredible. You're a hell of a player, a hell of a song writer, and you deserve for this to be everything you wanted!
"I want people to go back to other albums they've got, and just be bored." This is exactly the kind of music i wanna hear! And challenge freakin' accepted! Woo!
You have my respect! Such dedication; you put your whole soul, mind into your belief, your dream you hold on to! Bravo Maestro! \m/ And Sam - YES! I love that guy and his playing is SPOT ON! Even Devin said in an interview that he saw things done on drums, he never saw being played before. That says a lot, ohh yuurrr? :D
I was recommended Mors by a Melodeath loving Lawyer I follow on Twitter a few weeks ago, so I am way late to the party. I listened to "A Day for Redemption" and immediately knew this was something special. After researching the band and listening to the entire discography I arrived at Seven and Neverafter. I listen to and play all sorts of Metal, I know all art is subjective but rarely do I discover what I could call perfect songs, let alone perfect albums. Seven and Neverafter are a masterclass of composition and sound production. Underrated gets thrown around a lot, but Andy might be the most underrated guy in Metal.
I have just finished watching the Neverafter studio diary parts 1 & 2. It's so refreshing in this day and age, to see an artist/guitarist, that is willing to share the trials & tribulations of writing, recording and releasing an independent guitar instrumental album. All done with a great sense of humour & humility as well. Cheers!
"Jeff Loomis just said he's going to do a solo on my solo album......" , I hear Andy still walks the streets whispering this to this day! hahahahhaa joking! I'm still having a musical metalGasm over the fact you got 66samus and Jeff loomis in the same album!!!!
I am so glad that this popped up on my youtube feed because I had no clue about it at all. This sounds awesome!!! Big fan of Mors Principium Est and cant wait for this to come out!
What you felt reading that Jeff Loomis was going to play on your album is exactly what I felt reading that you accepted to play on mine. Just like a kid for Christmas ! :)
Can’t wait to hear this masterpiece Andy. From what you’ve shown us, we can tell you’ve put your heart and soul into this and your time will come brother. 🙌🏻
I was flabbergasted! I am pretty sure Jeff was thinking about the ordeal the whole time and it was bugging him, so he went into his home studio just to record the lick for Andy. At least - I see Jeff in that light, 100%, he is a gentleman.
Always a huge inspiration to see you working and recording from your setup at home. I´m trying myself but still need a lot more experience. When you record, do you play each little section on its own or do you try and catch longer parts in one take? Would be great to see a bit more of the Cubase workflow! Anyway, really looking forward to the album - it sounds phenomenal so far!
I don’t mean this in a disrespectful way because I can see you put everything into your work and it’s awesome to watch...but I’m really excited to see how many times Plec gives you his credit card to go to Maccas drive-thru this time
I'm going to just do digital tabs as and when, with this amount of layers I just don't have the time to tab every song right now sadly. Appreciate your kind words and your interest bro!
Dude stop it!.. i can't wait any longer!.. teasing us with samples of the music.. and yes 66Samus is a beast.. thanks to him i'm here supporting him and you..is it the 14th of Nov yet?
Andy thanks for being a fantastic musician and keeping MPE alive. Can you accept my friend request on facebook. I only have 2 on facebook. Check them out because they are a lot like you. Thanks for keeping art in music bro cant wait to wear that awesome shirt i just now ordered. Hope to see you on tour again
I truly think you've topped Jeff Loomis on the album. I didn't think it we're possible. In 50 years this will still be a musical masterpiece
I love these glimpses into madness that is music creation

Wise words.

I don't think you understand that the more you tease me with the tracks, the more weeks I'm going to listen to the album on repeat.

The beard looks badass man
haha, I think it grows with stress
I love you man, your one of my biggest influences in music.
Do you think there will be a songbook with tabs in the future? :)
I'm going to just do digital tabs as and when, with this amount of layers I just don't have the time to tab every song right now sadly. Appreciate your kind words and your interest bro!
if there was a songbook, it's in the NeverAfter girl's hand
Awesome man, that would be Killer. Keep it up, you are such a great guy and musician.
Tells Samus to put his own spice in.

I have the same Focusrite DAW and my guitar playing sounds nothing like that. It must be a bum unit.
Haha refund it!!
