One really great issue with this concealer is that it seems to give the coverage of Shape Tape without the dryness that some people experience. I hear many concealers talked about as being full coverage but when I try them they just aren’t. Because you have the kind of under eye darkness that I do, your opinion is much reliable for me than many others. Thanks for testing this one out!!
The fact that this doesn't really need a corrector underneath and still looks natural is amazing!! My sister was disappointed by the newer Tarte concealer so I'll have to get her to try this. Thank you for your review!!
@Giovanni Angelica honestly try it out. try it with and without a corrector and see the difference. get a cheap one first though, if you don't have one. (la girl corrector, its about 5 bucks) If you bake your under eyes it could be the powder changing the color of the concealer. Or just the concealer being the wrong undertone. for that i recommend looking at your veins and googling undertones to see which one you are. i hope i helped at least a little bit

Hallelujah ... this is the holy grail for concealers! I’m sooo glad that this can be used without a corrector! Sarah, please could you do a tutorial with using just a concealer and no foundation? lol if they did I would buy it because I can't wear Shape Tape it is drying as hell on my skin. I literally have dried flakes all over my skin after using Tarte Shape Tape. In fact almost every full coverage concealer I've ever tried dries the hell out of my aging undereyes and skin except the super hydrating ones like Tarte Maricuja but then that one creases like hell. I know thats an old video but you are the only youtuber that i trust when it comes to concealers! I have really dark circles (and I’m very very pale) and everywhere I see girls with absolutely clean and perfect skin (or one pimple and a tiny bit of “darkness” under eyes). Like how am I supposed to know if it works? Or they put a ton and say that it is super coverage 🤷🏼♀️. You are Real - real skin, real opinion and realistic application. Keep doing your job please ❤️

Yay! So glad it’s a great concealer. I need to try it out. I loved the tarte shape tape too but when I smile it’s a disaster on me. I’ve realized from photos. In your concealer reviews would you mind to smile as well up close? This changes how I view a concealer in my opinion if it sticks in my eye smile lines! I’m glad this worked for you! I had high hopes and really wanted this to be my new holy grail concealer, but it definitely creased on me (even with powder) and the lighter shades were way too white or way too yellow. It looks great on you though. :)

I have a question, and I know it's kind of odd but I'm really worried about it not fitting in my acrylic drawers lol. How large is the packaging compared to other products? I picked this up thinking if it worked for you it might work for me but sadly it didn't. While the finish looks less drying as the shape tape it does not have the same full coverage. At least not on me. 😕

Honestly The Tarte Shape Tape and this new Born This Way are both drying on me. I think they have something in them that allows them to set without using powder but it is very drying. I have flakes everywhere. It could just be that I have more dehydrated skin than anyone else, I'm 47, but I also have lines and crepey undereyes and unfortunately while this full coverage concealer did not make the lines worse it did dry me out badly under there even with using an expensive eye cream. I wonder if I try mixing this full coverage concealers with a drop of oil it will help.
Wow I am so sad bc I honestly waited for your review since I have really bad dark circles very similar to yours and I trust your opinion so much. Sooo many people love this including all of my really trusted youtubers. I bought it and have tried 3 different shades. None work for me!! They leave a gray cast and the natural beige was too light but not full coverage on me despite how thick it was. I still have to color correct which to me makes it not worth it cuz I use my ColourPop concealer and they work well but I do still color correct. I’m really bummed and not sure why it’s working for everyone else in the world hahaha but I think I’m going to return it and eventually just purchase Tarte shape tape which works great for me in medium. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else has a similar experience, you are not alone.

I really love this as a concealer and a foundation however I still say out of ALL of them...NYX CREAM color correctors & concealers work better than anything due to the high pigment. Liquid concealers are beautiful if you are under 30 but after that....reality hits ❤❤😂😂
Is this good for dry skin? I dont use heavy foundation, would like to keep it natural. I have a hard time finding a good concealer to cover one annoying dark drown spot. Wondering if I should pick a shade closer to the dark spot (which means completely off my light skin tone). I tired Pixi peach corrector, it was ok until i apply concealer or foundation(my skin tone). It lifts up the dark spot again :(. No idea how best to cover the big ass spot. Becca colour corrector better? Or just my application of the products was incorrect?

I would recommend the Lancome peach corrector. You dont have to use a lot and it covers the circles completely. It will stay on all day.
