Sephora's online foundation match said I should buy Seashell, but online swatches are so all over the place I didn't want to commit. Did you try it? The seashell color? Thts what i was planning to get i got a sample for snow and the undertone was perfect it was just a shade to light.. the next one to snow in the rosy category is seashell and i see where it is not yellow at all. But kind of reads dark to me. Does it blend into the skin lighter than it appears ? Please let me know 💜 it would help me out so much

In case anyone's wondering, since she described both "Light Beige" and "Natural Beige" as Light & Light-Medium with Neutral Undertones, "Light" = lighter & slightly Golden-Olive. "Natural" = darker & slightly warm/Peach/Orange. The difference between the two is super subtle and best viewed in diffused, natural sunlight.

I think Seashell would be my color. I usually go with Porcelain or Ivory but both of them look to yellow for me. Thanks for making these kinds of videos for us. It really helps me out alot because I don't live near a Sephora so I can't just go there and try it out.
I feel like I would fall between warm beige and sand. Btw, i love these types of videos because they’re very helpful to me. I like seeing all the shades being swatched because it’s hard for me to tell just by looking and swatching by myself to pick out the right shade 😊

Girl- this helped me out so much! I recently tested out this foundation and I am in love. It looked great in person.However, when I take flash photos, it looked ashy as all get out and I couldn’t figure out why. Low and behold it was because of the fact that I got a shade or so too light. I will be exchanging my shade, all thanks to you love!
I think I would be golden beige. I’m glad they have a really warm yellow foundation. Also, can I just say that I love your hair. I wouldn’t personally try it and nursing schools are pretty strict on hair colors, but it looks so great on you!

This is so much more reliable than Sephora's shade matcher. I was suggested Vanilla from my current perfect match foundation. Looking at the swatches, I'm a natural beige - that's a whole spectrum of a difference. YOU SAVED ME MY MONEY!

This is the best video explaining the color range I've come up with. I wanted to know what color matches best to Tarte Shape Light Neutral and I think it is Vanilla since it is the light shade with neutral undertone. Will give it a swatch in store just to make sure. Glad that they added more colors in because I loved the foundation but it was either too late or too dark so I went today and ended up with seashell I had no idea they added them I was pleasantly surprised to see when I was in Sephora today.... They always have tester bottles out so that you can pump out the shade and see the color right on your hand.
Thank you for doing this video. The original Born This Way foundation dried down darker that the shade showed. In my opinion, the Matte shade are lighter than you expect.
I think I would wear either Snow or Nude. Very helpful video! I'm glad they came out with more colors. Back when it was new I was math had with Vanilla, which is WAY too yellow for me. I might try them again.
I received this foundation recently from Influenster and got the shade Nude but it looks darker than in your video so not sure if they labeled it wrong or not. I guess I would say Seashell would be my shade since Nude is slightly too dark for me (I have light to medium skin tone with cool undertones). I’ve been using it as a tinted moisturizer mixed with my normal moisturizer so I can wear it.

I'm very confused between Cloud Snow and Swan, I was using the lightest shade of Make up Forever HD and it was ok but a little shiny so I wanted to switch to another medium coverage light foundation. Since I'm between a neutral and a cool based toned and most neutral tend to be too yellowy for me I'm gonna go swatch them on my skin in a shop and see which one fits best. Thank you for clarifying it all.
