Obviously the commentators dont play serious tennis. Similar to riding a motorcycle, you need a certain sphere of space to be safe. You cannot swing a racket safely especially running towards the ball unless you have a safety sphere of at least 3m radius. Zheng QinWen isnt wrong here.

In this particular case, I don't think she was wrong. Line judges rarely stay that far in front of the back wall, leaving less space for the players. I would say it's more the organizer's fault. If you play tennis you would know, even if there was just a ball on the ground in front of the back wall, when you run backward, you will definitely be distracted by it and make a compromise on what you were supposed to do.
Why mention the Navarro incident? It was Navarro who said nasty thing about her. Every tennis player has the right to complain if they think they have been disadvantaged by something during a game. Otherwise, they will face the consequence of losing due to something not within their control. Zheng is not the only tennis player who complained.
Don't like her behavior, but this one is obviously a problem with the organizer about where the line persons should stand - they should be all the way by the wall to give max. space to players. The commentators are so tennis stupid to to be tennis commentators by saying the person is not on her way.
This backcourt in this arena a much larger than many stadiums, and therefore the lines people need to be placed forward to be able to see the lines clearly. All the players know these lines people are considered court fixtures and are not supposed to move from their positions.
Often these officials are placed right up against the back wall, giving the players as much room as possible to run down shots: That said...does she actually think that this particular fellow determines the placement of officials? wt!!!!!!
