Great video Matt. It's so true. When we get tons of voicemails in a row, we tend to zone out. Nice tip too about the 20 call batches instead of a set time. Both can be good though. In call centers, they just make them call non-stop, no wonder they sound so robotic.

Great tips Matt. I greatly appreciate you getting to the point! I will be using the time block now. No wonder why I feel so defeated after cold calling for hours.

I'll have an interview in 10 days and this video took some pressure off my chest! The key to surviving your first few months in sales is to relax, have a vision of what needs to be done, recall what you were taught, and meet your numbers. You made a pretty good coach Matt. Thanks!!
Btw I'd very much appreciate it if you can share with me the titles of the books you have in the background?

I may make 100 calls with bout 10 conversations. By that time, I'm zapped. But I agree with what you say.

The major probblem i am facing is the different time zones i operate in....
My market is awake when its mid night here....
I am not at full capacity or am low at energy....
And cold calls require....rock solid mental strength....

Quick question, where do you source the numbers to call from?

When I was selling life insurance, we’d have 2 dial days and 4 appointment days. Dial days were 13 hours of calling with an hour break. Mind numbing lol
Question: As an SDR, does the company provide you lists of prospects? If not, where are you going to find your prospects?

    • @MattMacnamara
      @MattMacnamara  Год назад

When I was an SDR, I used a combination of Zoominfo and LinkedIn to find my prospects.
13 hours of cold calling sounds like hell lol

Great video since the old saying is sales is a numbers game
Just curious after your 3,600 calls what were your numbers
Were you calling to set appointments or selling on the phone
    Usually its tracked by
    Total Calls
    Apointments
    Sales
    With moderations
Can you share your average results
    Thanks

been doing cold calling for a while now. I'm able to double that number of calls tbh. cuz I use a nice combination of tools that make it possible to make 300 calls a day but the problem still remains. what can I do to get them answer or at least 50% of them? and should I leave a VM
