If you're gonna break the law, and you manage to get caught, grow a pair, suck it up, "man up!" call it whatever you want just do your time! Unless you're facing a life sentence, or something like multiple decades in Prison, breaking out is like the LAST thing that you should do. No question about it.
We are far far far too coddling and gentle with criminals. Then again, we also don't really have a system that points them toward rehabilitation, given our recidivism rates.
