This was... A lot... Of editing...
Personally I prefer slightly more in depth printer reviews.
This was still a good overview though. Look solid!
    Great video overall hahaha.

not setting the z-offset is quite a newbie move, the other important advice is isolation: putting more machine actively printing in the same rack causes problems due to to synchronization. Make sure the rack is bolted to the wall or you gonna have trouble especially with cosplay parts due to large surfaces that will make the generated noise more visible

Great review! Would you recommend it as a first printer for someone who wants to print large props and armor?

      @yoshin-_-  Год назад +2

Yes! As long as you have a good slicer settings this thing is perfect for first timers!

Yes I just bought one! It is awesome. Very good value!
Seems to help to have a good brim and a thicker base layer.
I have done a few 3 day prints and it hasn't missed a step.

I am just curious, cause I see a lot of recommendations for it did you stick with the factory Nozzle or upgrade to a .6 or .8

For the ghost mask I stuck with .4 but after I went to .6

im getting ready to buy a different 3d printer. I was looking at the Neptune 3 Max or the 4 Max, how long does a chest plate take on your 3?

The roller wheels are falling apart on mine after only a couple of months of use. Elegoo has not responded to my emails. Skip this and go for the faster Neptune 4.

You set the z offset after automatic bed leveling.
    Less video editing more review.
I have this printer and it is worth it , or wait for the Neptune pro 4 max.

How close do you recommend the nozzle being close to the base?

Elegoo Neptune 4 Max looks very promising. Fast, slightly shorter in Z but looks like it is because of redesigned print head and cooling fans. Also has WIFI and WLAN. Pre-orders appear to be sold out.

I agree with you! I just preordered mine and can’t wait to see what it’s about!

do you recommend the max 3 or 4? I see that 4 has a lot of negative feedback and fails, thinking on maybe getting the 3 for reliability? @@yoshin-_-

@@VasjenKatroim litrally thinking the same right now. Did you decide and order one yet ? Seen a lot of failed prints which ofc could be user error or mutiple things but was also thinking of going for the 3 for reliability mainly for slow large prints with good quality.

Stay away from the Neptune 4 Max, I had nothing but issues with it and seems to be a very common problem with the N4's.

You rub your oily hand on the PEI bed and it won't attach prints anymore, what a tool. The screws are for tramming the bed, not for autolevel.

Don't want to hate but it really feels like I'm watching some kids Minecraft channel instead of a not so cheap complex machine review
