*I do believe that Sonic Adventure 2 is still the best storyline in the whole of the Sonic franchise.*
The main problems with this is....
1) Sonic movie 3 is obviously going to be about the events of Sonic Adventure 2 squeezed into roughly 2 hours.
2) Yes, Shadow the Hedgehog & Rouge the Bat debut was in Sonic Adventure 2 so not having Rough may result in a big miss.
3) If Eggman tricks Shadow into hating Sonic and helping him destroy him this will be coming off of the back foot of the second Sonic movie which had the same plot but with Knuckle instead.

Remember Knuckles wont be in sonic 3 since when sonic is fighting shadow or something Knuckles tv show is also taking place at the same time, meaning Knuckles probably wont be in sonic 3 (Unless i am stupid i think im correct, Tell me iff im wrong and the explanation in comments)

Why do people keep wanting more characters like Amy, Rouge, or even the Biolizard? Has anyone watched a movie like Spiderman 3? Introducing to many new heroes and villains will make the movie feel overcrowded and rushed due to all the new characters that need to be introduced with backstorys. Only introducing Shadow, and his story is just fine.
But............. Shadow's story is Amy, Rouge, and the Biolizard. Didn't you play Sonic Advantage 2?
@truthspreader1996 Yeah, I did play adventure 2 and loved it. But what people need to realize is that the movie is not adapting the adventure 2 story. It's simply taking pieces from it and giving it's own, unique, spin on it. I'm worried that when people watch the film, expect the SA2 story fully realized and not get that the same story, people might dislike the movie for its changes.
@@sonicmedrano7084 That really depends on how much adaptation is adopted. You can't have Shadow without Maria and Professor Gerald Robotnik. Thus giving Shaodw his motivation.......

Does* and I think that sonic and eggman working together would actually work and make a good story because it shows that the stakes are high. It might even work better than in the games because in the games eggman does some pretty bad things like trapping tiny animals in robots or blowing up an entire island. In the movies he just hates sonic, so they can probably put their differences aside. Also it probably has to happen because of the story of SA2. It might not be direct but I feel like this has to happen if Gerald rrobotnik is in the movie
