Yes Brian! I also thought a Blue jay in with the Cardinals will be an awesome holiday gift, I love this Community! 🤗 Thank you cinnamon and John for the inspiration to creatively proceed with confidence and bringing us all together❤️❤️❤️
To me there is nothing prettier than bright red cardinals in the snow. The cardinal has been my favorite bird all of my 70 years. They were such a common sight when I was growing up in southwestern Virginia and later in the North Carolina mountains. When I moved to Ireland in 2005 I found that cardinals were one of the things I missed most. Another beautiful painting from you, Cinnamon. I see this one was uploaded at least two years ago and I seemed to have missed seeing it somehow.
Cinnamon....I just have to tell you...this painting inspired me...after about 4 months of not painting...to pick up my brush...& paint this nugget...I only got as far as the fence as I kept being too critical of the wood...so after the 5th or 6th layer on wood...I washed my brushes & decided to look at it again in the morning...{my oven timer went off too...chickens done!}... I am debating a dark wood or the lightish grayish color wood I have been around most my life...old sun bleached docks...which I am so used to. As I was watching you on live I thought I would do the fence but put a grapevine wreath,w the bow, around the post...instead of birds on fence...so I'm toying w that in my head as well. If I go w the wreath I have to put snow on top of fence 1st...so...now you see why I stopped...at the fence. It looks real good dark...but...don't cha just love acrylics??? The fact that you can always change it up? Anyways...thanks for helping me get out of the ...bla feeling...& inspiring me to get my brushes{&hands} dirty again! After all...those princetons, rubies & art sherpas are a good investment to just be dust collectors!
What a beautiful winter painting. Your technique and instruction is fabulous and gives even the beginner encouragement. Thanks so much for sharing and continued success. Love PegEgg
Love this new style of teaching acrylic painting, though very similar to your older lessons but with a few tweaks, i.e. step by steps and a pdf, BONUS 💕💕 Glad you have found a way to incorporate your song as I have missed it, gives me a happy heart. 💕💕
Im rlly crying because i am bad at painting but u are a great teacher so i learned how to pait beautiful thank you so much i love your art my art looks good now thanks to you but your art is more beautiful hehehe love your vids thank you so much 🤗
Hi! This will be my next project (as soon as I have finished the sunflower sugar skull). I'll send it to my great aunt, who is in quarantine in a seniors' home. Thanks!
I'm sad I missed this live. I will have to watch this later as I'm about to make supper. I asked for acrylics for Christmas/Holidays so I have been watching your videos so I have some kind of idea of what to do lol :)
Hi this may be a silly question but I noticed you could do this as a window painting, what would you do for preparation for this, and what size window would be best? Thanks! I love your videos and want to get back into painting since I am locked down again in Ontario Canada. thank you so much! Much love, Stay Safe!
I'm not an artist or even half way there in drawing. I tried to follow Cinnamon in drawing the fence and birds but the canvas with markings was way too faint for me to see. Could the camera zoom in closer and linger just a little bit for people like me to see. Appreciate you Cinnamon and John. Wonderful.
Cinnamon, thank you so much for this, and again for the pdf! I love this painting, as it reminds me of the group of cardinals that live in my back yard. Not much chance of seeing them in snow here in Georgia, though. ❄🌨❄🌨❄🌨
This may help or try artists eye app on your phone 1 Power on your printer. Load the sheets for your poster. 2 Open the file that contains the poster image. Click the “File” tab on the command ribbon, then click “Print” to bring up the dialog box. 3 Click the “Preferences” or “Printer Properties” button to open the Printing Preferences dialog box. 4 Click the preferred “Page Layout” selection, such as “4 Poster [2x2],” “9 Poster [3x3]” or “16 Poster [4x4]” to select the poster size. The preview window shows a diagram of the specified number of sheets that make up your poster. 5 Click “OK” to close the Printing Preferences dialog box, then click “Print.” Place the prints on a large, flat surface in the correct order. 6 Trim the prints with a paper trimmer, or with a straight edge and a mat knife. Affix tape to the underside of the sheets to create the poster.

ruclips.net/video/Oqo3IEbx544/видео.html Hi!! I hear you I do. I did a lovely one with a lot of help from my Community who guided me in the things I needed to know. I will share that here. I am not well versed in your faith and so it can be hard to know what is a great subject for the painting. I went to make a playlist for you of other teachers who may have done some and OMG they just copied mine so that was not helpful and its clearly a void i did not expect at all. #1 I will keep my eye out for good Hannukah tutorials or will try and make another one and hope i do a good job that does not offend anyone with my lack of personal knowledge. I really believe we all need art that celebrates who we are. Hope the one I do have is somewhat helpful
@@TheArtSherpa Hey I recognize that piece. Someone was organizing a local paid for painting parting and the piece they were making looked EXACTLY like that. If you want you can find some Jewish artists on Instagram, or search for Chanukah art (the religious spell it that way so if you want to find genuine ideas and explanations look that up) You can look up the words Dreidel, Menorah, Latkes, Sufganiyot to get an idea. Latkes are fried potatoe pancake things and Sufganiyot are doughnuts we have a lot of fried foods and milk food traditionally.
@@TheArtSherpa Now that I'm looking up actual tutorials I see others are copying you. That sucks. Was this your own original idea? You should get them taken down for copyright.
Lovely pic of cardinals…..will try this for Xmas painting!

In Canada watching. Had to find a ruler to get your messurements.
I need to make sure they are in Metric too but I am so bad at it. I will try and be better as we go forward :)
Is this beginner friendly?
I would say if you have painted a few paintings in, then you could totlally do this one. It is doable .💚
I'm a month behind this video
But would love to get a book.
How can l can a book to paint snowbirds in the snow ?
what;s the text number to get notification when your live?
Can we get some Hannukah tutorials? I'm sick of seeing Christmas stuff.
