It’s definitely more expensive than anything we would sell at Sephora, but most of this cost largely goes into the fact that it is custom made for you and the employees take the time to match, create and consult with you. The markup on Sephora products our clients buy is mostly due to marketing costs for the brands and packaging. So considering all of your pennies are going into the actual product, knowledge the consultants provide and into the time spent with you personally, yes it actually is affordable even if it may not seem it upfront

It's creasing because the corrector seems pretty thick and creamy, and that with a layer of even more concealer it's going to crease, just set it with powder immediately. It's not the correcting concealer's fault. (but I might be wrong because I haven't felt the concealer or had it on my face, but I have a cream concealer that is pretty similar to the way she described it)
I mean if the correcting concealer was ordinary concealer another layering shouldn't be necessary, but since correcting concealers are usually supposed it be paired with another concealer or foundation to additionally cancel some imperfections (for example peach is supposed to help with dark undereyes, green is supposed to help with redness etc.) so If the concealer was meant as correcting it shouldn't have creased at all, but if the company meant it as your ordinary concealer then I agree that another layering wasn't necessary at all.
if you’re wondering why it’s expensive, it’s because these products are simply made by hand, unlike a machine that can mass produce the same product over and over again. having to check what kind of skin type, color, pigmentation, texture, and other concerns from a *single* customer is tedious. it requires a lot of care, effort, focus, and knowledge to even understand the basic needs of the customer. you could say the same for clothes: sole designer vs. factory workers. an individual clothing designer has to measure and figure out the needs of a unique customer, compared to factory workers who have to mass produce size small, medium, or large clothes with no guarantee that it’ll satisfy customers. point is, i don’t blame the cosmetologists for making the products expensive. you could easily walk into sephora and find something that caters something close to you, but not relatively made for you. i think custom makeup is good for people who have very specific needs that they can’t find the solution for.

For the concealer bit it was confusing for me. The products she had were supposedly all natural ingredients. She put a drugstore/sephora brand over it (not all natural ingredients) aswell and powder over all that and complained about it creasing? Well duh, 3 layers and you should’ve just put the powder over it. Why put concealer over concealer?
She was looking for a peachy colour correcter, which you put under your concealer and powder. Other correctors don't crease if you layer them because that's what they're for.
Katharina Maria That was a concealer though, and she put 2 other layers on top of it, of course it creased! Colour correcters weren’t made to be layered on top of, they were made to even out your skin tone! Correct blemishes, marks etc. It also probably wasn’t the brand, all she had to do was use concealer she made and then put some powder over it! NOT layer it! 🤦🏻♀️
@@kalter-altroblox9581 Yes a color corrector is meant to be layered, it hides the color you are trying to correct... like you said to even the skin tone. But you normally put concealer over color corrector then foundation then powder.
@@Why-rp1fx Thanks for sharing, I agree, it shouldn't be layered. I also think she shouldn't have been disappointed, because of how she ended up using it on her face. For custom made makeup products, you are allow to add demands until you are satisfied. Honestly their price was not that bad compare to most Sephora brands. If you usually go for drugstore brands then yeah these might be overpriced for you.
Also the colors, well, a lot of people like to get a certain shade of makeup(me too) because you know the color flatters you. So they buy makeups from different brands but basically the same color range, and they look the same on your face. If you are one of those people, then custom made makeup is not really for you. What’s the point to custom made the same makeup you usually use right?
I buy different lipsticks, shadows, concealers etc. and I mix them on my own,for a way cheaper price and it's veryyy satisfying.. some times I also add rose scent.. y'all try it!
Blende is a custom makeup studio. "Custom" means that we guide people to the right colors/tones based on their skin tone, hair color, eye color and lifestyle. If someone is asking for a plum eye shadow and it's going to look right for them, we create it. It was intentionally sheer, with dimension. In person it looked gorgeous, same with the blush, lipstick and corrector. We customized the lip color to one she liked from a show and did that for her, but with her coloring in mind. Our products are Vegan, Gluten free, Paraben free, Non toxic and Cruelty free. They're extremely high quality and also fully pigmented ,if thats what someone wants!. It was customized for her and you can tell them exactly what u want
Jaime Ketchum you can find basically everything that she just wore for a whopping total of 4 bucks at the dollar tree.
@@olivedwy lol sure if you want the dupe.
That’s too expensive.. it’s not a big brand to have those prices it’s all made in the store
She’s the one that accepted the colors at the store. If she wanted more pigment then she should of asked for it. She asked for more glitter and that’s what she got all over her face.
I could buy a lot of stuff at Sephora for that money
I like how at the end when she was putting it on she was acting surprised but she putt them all on in the store
Guys she was aiming for a "washed" eyeshadow, the whole point was that there was not meant to be that pigmented 🤦♀️
Indian Government she literally never said that she was going for that lol
No, she said it was a “nice wash of color” AFTER they mixed the thing. Never asked for that 🤣
The blush is a really pretty color for her. I think if she used a different brush it would apply better. The highlighter is gorgeous and I need it.
"Definitely a very pretty soft wash" aka it's sheer af with no pigmentation whatsoever
that concealer really match her skin!! ♥️♥️♥️
I'm living for the lipstick .
I appreciate her honesty at the end
You really look like Veronica in this makeup, I’m impressed!
I'm glad she gave an honest review
I love how he end look turned out but the prices were a lil too expensive for me lol... I also love how you named the lipstick Ronnie after Veronica 😂
For the price its definitely not quality makeup, I could drug store makeup and it could look way better than that
The lipstick and the highlighter was the only thing that looked decent, and even those are instantly duped 🙄
with the price you paid you could get a jefree star eyeshadow palet
The eyeshadow fall out would be normal if it’s not pressed.
And I thought mayballine was expensive
Edit: I know it's maybelline, but my autocorrect doesn't like it that way
Edit2: OMFG 241 likes 😨
Maybaline
yall its maybELLine
@@athena976 my phone auto corrected it
Flame0409 auto correct sucks
Maybe its maybelline?
The blush looks patchy and none of their products actually impressed me considering the big price tag.
Customized makeup are always SUPER SHEER!
Sooo loving the lipstick b4 the brown pigment.
the concealer was really worth it tho, the others? nah
this is the stuff i would expect in kid’s makeup.
This is the most useless company ive ever seen😂🤦♀️
@kokopops ikr they tryna make her look like Ursula.
@@savannanc 😂😂😂😂
Ya
Yeah
That's amazing. She looks really pretty
4:12 WHERES THE HIGHLIGHT??!? 👎🏼👎🏼
I buy different lipsticks, shadows, concealers etc. and I mix them on my own,for a way cheaper price and it's veryyy satisfying.. some times I also add rose scent.. y'all try it!
She reminds me of Lucy from made in Chelsea, the blush looks like a bruise, the eyeshadow was awful but the corrector looks good just by itself
That lipstick at the 5:00 mark was so beautiful.
"Prices you would expect to pay"
I am not gonna pay 30 40 bucks for nothing!
I am so glad that I seen this! They do Zoom Makeup classes & Zoom sessions to match you!!!
I wonder if they’re still in business…
Our prices fall in line with what you'd expect to pay at Sephora for off the shelf brands.
Did she wash, moisturize, and prime before putting on the makeup?
When she said “Pig-me-tation” 😂
The highlighter looked nice and natural on you!
Way to expensive for all it is, £50 for foundation who they think they are Chanel ffs! literally any makeup artist worth their salt can do the EXACT same thing, plus it's not a new concept cosmetic companies have offered custom shades since the 40s ! Smh 🤭
PREACH
But nothing matches my skij. If I have an option I would definitely would buy
The only thing I love about is how they mix the the all of them around
"I already see creasing*
*because your not using powder like your SUPPOSED TO*
"I was disappointed..." best line ever!
