If we are looking for sympathetic Updike, I prefer the original sprite. If we are looking for villainous Updike, I think think this design fits him more. I wish his sprite stayed the same when he sang. He looks like Kingpin.
I really like the character redesigns. GF looks pretty much the same because she's a demon, BF gets more smug and troll energy as he ages into his mid to late 20s, and the redesign for Updike looks badass. The other Greater Good members look great too imo
