Im looking at both Strange Journey and the Womems Encyclopedia for a paper currently and I find Walkers idea of the Greek Maia being a Western version of the eastern Maya interesting for SJ because, looking at the Mothers with their respective Sector, you could kinda(?) say that, like Maia being a version of Maya, Eridanus is similar to Grus in that its illusory, since the greenery there is being projected by the technology that makes up the heart of that sector. Eridanus as an illusion is also relevant to the story as the investigation team sees it as their way out initially before being blindsided by the reality of how the Schwarzwelt is actually laid out, which leaves traces of the hindu concept of maya in maias realm of eridanus which is kinda funny

Anyway, what do you think about this piece of info from the megaten wiki:

It seemed interesting, but I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere else. So I was expecting you to mention it. Though I suppose it's not surprising you didn't if it's just misinformation.
I used dungeon crawling footage because I thought it would make for good generic background footage when I didn't have anything specific to show on screen.
That bit of information from the wiki is actually accurate. I didn't include it in this video because was debating on doing an addendum video to this that specifically goes into Mem Aleph, i.e. the evidence that Walker cites for her being a real religious figure and some other religious concepts that went into developing Mem Aleph for SJ.
