      Natural beauty too. Which is rare in itself. All these sad clones using cosmetic procedures to try and make themselves beautiful. Plastic surgeons aren't magicians. Women are born and turn out to be beautiful or not. It's not man made

      @roseswine847 3 года назад +14

      @@Claire-tn4xp "Try and make themselves beautiful" and there is no problem with that. Women can have cosmetic surgery because they have the right to feel beautiful. Don't tear others down just because Yasmeen is a natural beauty. And natural beauty isn't that rare. I've seen a lot of pretty girls in the street,no surgery.

      @@roseswine847 well pretty and beautiful are two very different things actually! Beauty is rare. This is why the pretty ish ones aren't satisfied and plastic surgeons and the media have falsely led them to believe that beauty is attainable via cosmetic surgery which is bullshit. The evidence is clear they just end up looking bloody ridiculous 🤣🤣 look at Madonna and Demi Moore for example. If I'd paid money and ended up looking worse than before I'd be very miffed

    • @roseswine847
      @roseswine847 3 года назад +6

      @@Claire-tn4xp Yes pretty and beautiful are two different things because beautiful actually means that a person shines inside out, it comes along with personal attachment. while pretty is used to describe someone who looks good as well as the word gorgeous or "hot" that is why I used pretty to describe the girls I see. Beauty isn't rare. That is seen in almost everything like the sky, a color and other things.

      I disagree, you mostly her Abt the success stories...and I wouldn't deem her past as rough from "our knowledge" while not disregarding it,there are plenty of good children an adults who live through hell daily and doesn't come out of it alive or deem their existence " a life"....So many ppl are abused, sexually exploited or extremely ill,with no solution & die in pain mentally,& or physically,some are literally killed or bedbound dying a slow death...I know what I'm talking Abt.
      Either way I wish everyone good health,love or a strong family/friendship bond, able to make mistakes & grow instead of letting ego & entitlement keep them from admitting their wrongdoing & expand their being for themselves & others. I hope ya'll get through ur difficulties & know that your pain is valid even if others "have it worse",I wish for ppl to study more & find their truth,use social media & their benefits (like being healthy,pretty,smart,a man,hetero,paid(working) or with any platform) use it to help others ,whether it is to take a few min to write a message,share a pic of a missing person on social media & ur ppl,donate money to private causes or for reaserching diseases,treatment or healing,help children in need of parents & rolemodels,homeless ppl,speak up for those suffering misogyny,racism,Colourism, homophobia,speak up against war & help those in need and not blindly trust these organization as they usually take most of the money or partake in exploitation, question ur rights & goverment,protect yourself,focus on your body,dreams and goals ,but use any chance you have to speak up against pornography (lack of consent,sexual exploitation,power dynamic,sexual slavery etc even if it's uncomfortable & something is normalized,bc most ppl are just too comfortable in their own situation to speak up,spend their time talking Abt "negative things"aka a party boomer & the more ppl do so the less ppl have to do bc as of now we are taking the heavy burden simply bc ppl can't save 5 min for a comment,a picture, or a few dollars (or millions for those that have much more) the most valuable things can't be seen or touched,money is just paper & if you don't help and stand up for others,you may not think you'll get sick/killed/abused/victimized most ppl don't think it will happen to them & are hiding behind the shield of democracy which is purely an ideology,proven by the fact that there are misogyny,racism, religion intertwined with politics & you're rights not protected by law ,healthcare etc democracy is the idea of equality, but systemic racism & a false sense of freedom is what drives the western world and the rest of the world,a sheep won't try to fight or exit if they don't see the fences,and as sheep we are comfortable with plural & believe the bullshit bco brainwashing,wanting to believe what they're selling & ofc the fear of standing alone & not succeeding in "escaping" ppl don't fight bc they're afraid that the loss is to huge,but if you have a fever of loosing something that's only yours to have,you've already lost ...and if everyone stood together against the 1% success would be 100% guarateed. Also nothing comes freely from just praying, change demands action,and action demands your participation not waiting for anyone else to stand up,it takes courage & demands determination & the willingness to sacrifice .....Is life worth living if you can't be truly free,grow more & become like a tree with branches and roots blossoming? If you got 1 life ,make it count & I wouldn't count on afterlife/heaven as the gift for suffering & living like a pig for slaughter...and for those that are where of heaven, there's nothing to lose fighting for the freedom of all, selfreflection & growth are traits zi can respect,hiding,being comfortable etc is not freedom,but also ignoring those locked in chains.... there's never too late to change.. :) Have a great year & hopefully those who read this message will look at what they can do to help others,self growth,and being sceptical to everything around you & questioning it!
      P.S I don't reccomed taking the Pfizer vaccine,it has little effect & can trigger diseases like MS,Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia etc which have no cure treated poorely by the health community & meds/treatment barely work or not at all & a lot of ppl live with these disordes for the rest of their lives...you rarely hear Abt bc their too sick to speak up, Doctosnfind it good complicated & they usually lack a good support system and yes this can happen to anyone , especially anyone who has taken any vaccine as they are thechnically biology weapons,whether they intend to harm or not....

These are all narssacitic behaviour traits and can be very harmful down the road for your mental health.
      Put religion aside what good does modeling bring to the world and for our youth?? There's unattainable beauty standards being pushed into the masses where we now see a rise in cosmetic procedures so as to remain youthful. Where people are going through horrendous lengths for the "perfect looks"!?

    The perfect figure for haute couture with a matchless hip / waist ratio & long drape-line; effortlessly elegant & graceful, undeniably sexy yet restrained by a fine decorum that at once draws all eyes while allowing the beauty of the clothing to remain the primary focus of attention-a true fashion-lover's model, it is the highest praise to say the art of her catwalk rivals that of Anna Bayle, Sonia Cole, & Gurmit Kaur....

    • @GeorgiaIsOnMyMind
      @GeorgiaIsOnMyMind 6 лет назад +8

      I met Gurmit Kaur in real life; complete b*tch. (Truth)

    • @Philokally

      I respect your opinion; sorry for your unfortunate personal encounter with Gurmit Kaur, I personally value courtesy very highly. That being said, I've been a runway-viewer for over 30 yrs and it's patently evident that Gurmit Kaur possessed one of the most distinctive and elegant walks ever. To each her own though. My real purpose for referencing the three models I did was to pique the curiosity of the younger set for whom they may not be familiar, and upon searching may learn that a large part of what made Yasmeen such a great catwalker was the time-period in which she apprenticed: the late 80s / early 90s when the general level of walking was so much more elevated than today -- best to you & yours.

I'm also going to model but after I graduate it's already been fixed that I'll be a judge. I was a teenager in the 90s when the supermodel craze was at its peak. Now these girls were something else in beauty. And all of us young girls looked up to them. We knew them by name. We had our favorite, mine was Stephanie Seymour. But it was such an awesome time. I don't know what it is about that time but the young models of today have absolutely nothing on the 90s models. And that's probably why the craze ended. It ended when models just didnt have that magic that these girls had back then.

They really tried it with the oppressed ethnic girl narrative.

      @Sean Flysoul what's wrong with marrying a Jew? At the end of the interview she states that both her Jewish boyfriend and her father both prefer that she doesn't model in lingerie. What does that have to do with bigotry? Controlling yes, bigoted how? Also are you seriously insinuating that she intentionally married a Jew to piss of her Muslim father because you think all Muslims inherently hate Jews? Kind of proves my point about the false narrative being portrayed.

    • @sawan6185

      @Sean Flysoul Yes it would have been controversial for an imams daughter to be a model and it is known that he opposed her going into modeling. However Yasmeen has never stated that she was ostracized by her father. If anything she says in this interview that her family has come around to her career choice. I know it doesn't jive with people's prejudice but the narrative that is being portrayed is inconsistent with what she is actually saying.

    when models beauty and features were real... not created with layers and layers of makeup and in a doctors office with fillers and implants like all these young beauty "gurus" now! Yes they wore makeup of course, and in shootings like vogue and bazaar there is a need for even more, during haute couture photoshoots. But when I look back on her walking the runway, it is shocking how little makeup she is wearing compared to young women doing makeup tutorials now. Why would girls and women today need more makeup in real life with several colors of eyeshadow, primer (note there was no face primer or eyeshadow primer then) foundation, concealer, contour, blush, highlighter and lipcolor...than girls needed on the runway then. At that time, girls wore more makeup on the runway and during photoshoots then regular girls did in real life...now it is the other way around.

You know nothing about the amount of makeup it takes to create a natural look. Everything from the quality of the camera, to the placing of the light, to the angle of the camera goes into an image that you so stupidly believe is natural, in comparison to today's models. By the way, before makeup primers, moisturizers, milk of magnesia, baby powder, and compressed powders were the makeup primers before there were makeup primers.

      Heidi never had a good body. She has a wide waistline and a wide pelvis, with the ilium crest sticking out way too much, that it creates the illusion that her body was more trapezoidal and boxy than long and lean with a graceful hourglass shape. This is why she looks relatively shorter than Naomi, despite both being the same height. Heidi's frame was very square and boxy, than elegantly long and narrow. It looks too manly at times than elegant like a ballerina. Not to mention, when she is toned, her obliques point sharply downwards, that they don't look pretty. And at one point, she had those horrible breast implants, and her ass is way too flat according to Naomi.

      @@user-dh8fi5bf5ybut her father is originally from Ghor, Afghanistan, nor did he look like a southindian. He looked more Pakistani/Afghan. so those genes are NOT indian. If a horse is born among cows in a cow barn, does it make the horse a cow?

      @@user-dh8fi5bf5yand genes (dna) stays the same regardless of where you move. It requires mixing with other races. However most people are very mixed due to all the historical empires/kingdoms/rulers. But it is possible to change the ethnicity by living a certain place and assimilating into the society. Ethnicity is a socially grown identity, with shared history, language and tradition. Sorry to disappoint you but her father identified as Pakistani, a muslim, and he was also the one to tell Yasmeen about his family migrating from Afghanistan to Hyderabad a few generations ago. She said herself on her instagram after he passed away.

    Not to sound dismissive, but I grew up in the 80s and 90s and was quite aware of the model phenomenon of the times, and somehow this young lady escaped my consciousness. I never heard of her before. She might have been well established in the industry, but I never heard her name mentioned with the other model luminaries of the times . . .

      She was underrated which was unfortunate... she's always there at the big fashion shows along with the big name supermodels. You can't deny her because she stood out from everyone with her ethnic exotic looks and fierce catwalk.

      Guess you weren't as well versed as you thought. My friends and I love her. I spent a ton of money getting print books of all the supermodels. If you don't know of her you weren't paying attention.

She wasn’t in the click with Naomi, Christy, Linda etc. but photographers and designers loved her and her walk rivals Naomi Campbell’s -she’s the only one.
