He sounded just like this about Gabby Price. He'd be "disappointed in himself if she's not top 10" etc. Which, it's not too late for her to be a good pro. But maybe time to take it easy with talking about world #1 for kids under 13 or 14 years old.
the second I read the title I thought the same. Gotta take the pressure off the kids a little. Good to believe in your players but this is a lot to hear that young
Played great when you were a kid is very different from being top 100 in the world. I have seen a lot of promising kids dropped out or overtook by later developed kids. They were great at 8 may because they mature earlier but doesn't mean kids who come in later has no chance. So naive for him to say that
Be quite as some things requires certain aspects and he listed many of them as he's been working at his craft with Serena Williams and Venus so he's what some call and expert! Many people don't get a high school diploma 😊😮😢❤ shutting you down!
@@meisu3287 I’m tired of schooling you people as this child is developing skills that are forever and will continue to grow into herness! Poor you! Prayer will not help you but my teaching will 🫢🤔🤣😇☑️ 🎾
In tennis you have to start early to have a chance and she is off to a good start so far. At 8 she should be starting to play in the 12’s and then she will develop a game. For people who think that she is doing too much or going to “burnout” you don’t know what you’re talking about because some kids are different. I once had my kid tell me she’d rather play tennis when we were going to Disneyland (I forced her to go to Disney though and she had a great day 😂) Some kids love to sing, play an instrument, dance, play chess and some kids LOVE tennis.
@@RCShufty you don't know what it means! If you feel inadequate because a child is out performing you then that your problem! Make sure your child have what you called a normal childhood !
At elite level, the diff is so much the mentality and handling pressure. It’s got nothing to do how well you hit balls. He mentioned kenin well look where she is now. Honestly there is a lot of Bridges that has to be crossed for this girl to fulfill what this guy is saying is matter of time.
the problem with these so called coach is that they bet on everything, they believe it's right..... then Jannik Sinner comes out from nowhere and the horse they bet on, is still ATP 400th. Macci, Sanchez, IMG, Panatta, Maratouglu.... they are only fantastic marketing preachers!
Not one mention about her state of happiness? Present, don’t push. My 16 year old daughter is within the top 15 in Regional Nationals In two different sports, yet it’s her innate sense of sacred joy that is most evident. Pace her wisely and wholesomely adults and parents of her, plzzz 🙏🏾
No one has any idea where this girl will be when she is 16, 17 or 18. Burnout, injuries, how tall she grows un to be, it's all a crap shoot. Hate to see her working out in the gym at such a young age. Is she trying to build up muscle? The fact that she is from Ukraine probably means she is hungry for a better life but goodness me, let's pump the breaks a bit and let this girl have a life.
This is exactly what he said about Gabby Price…absolutely no difference. Gabby was a bust. Watch the old Macci videos about Gabby Price. No difference.
WELL ITS NOT ONLY HAVE ABILITY YOU NEED A LOT MENTAL THING...ITS NOT ONLY WHAT THEY WANT SOO IF SHE IS MEANT TO BE AA STAR O CHAMPION THE TIME WILL SAY IT..MMM I DONT LIKE THE GUY AND ITS TOO MUCH TRAINING... :(

Your right..Some kids peak early and don't grow.

I played her recently and won. She calls everything out.

@davidgivins4203 happy for him to prove me wrong, we shall wait to see...and if that doesn't have, probably you need to ......

I feel for these kids though, they tend to miss out on actually being a kid.
She's playing tennis.
What is she missing out on as you missed out on learning to play sports correct !

Once she hits puberty all bets are off.

She has incredible movement, speed & balance. I wouldn’t bet against her being #1 one day!
Goodness, no pressure on the girl... wow... :)

and look at Sofia Kenin - tragically unhappy
She will probably stop growing due to over-training or get injured with chronic back or knee problems as an effect of the overload on her body.
Stop stupid your body will grow based on it design!
A man of that age with that much dyed black hair makes me nervous.
The dude is delusional.
Sweet❤❤❤

I hope they don’t make a lift weights because that’s going to stunt her growth and she won’t grow over 5 feet she won’t make it in pro tennis either
Macci is full of nonsense and self promotion; but lifting weights in no way stunts growth.
