Hey Wolf, question (and sorry if this is addressed later on in the series): did going to Act 2 ultimately progress the story and skip certain quests in Act1?
@andreidikranvasilescu6182 I know you didn't ask me so hopefully this is helpful rather than annoying, but I just entered Act III and I can tell you that the point of no return for all Act I areas and quests is just before meeting the Nightsong at the end of the Gauntlet of Shar. You can proceed to the Act II area and come and go between Act I and Act II areas at your leisure as long as you don't go to the area described above
@@andreidikranvasilescu6182 from my understanding, you can go back to act one and do side quests even when moving on to act two. that said, i did absolutely every quest in act one and i did not feel overpowered at all going into act two, so if you leave early you may have some difficulty.

Shar is by far the most evil deity in forgotten realms, the other evil deity's wants to dominate or simply conquer, but Shar want's to end all existence, She is a nihilist in the very sense of the word, But the Sharrians (like Shadowheart) are very interesting because they are all drawn to Shar for very different reasons, Most are compelled to serve the lady of loss simply by the feeling of regret for some trauma they suffered earlier in life.
I like Shadowheart (like literally everyone else) but i didn't realize how evil Shar is until I got to act 2. Man it gets really, really, dark... no pun intended lol.
Yes, we as outside observers know what Shars actual designs are, but the people within the universe do not, most of the populace view Shar as just another evil deity like Umberlee or Bane. When in reality she is really the only deity actively seeking the destruction of everything. Most of her clergy are not necessarily evil, some certainly are but they reach that state of evil by simply being lied to, manipulated into believing that having nothing is better than having things that you could possibly lose. The ones who truly know of Shars purpose and still serve are in a nearly thrall-like state having basically no free will of their own and simply being subject to her whims.
You get xp for each goblin you kill, the xp you get at the end isn't for the whole fight its only for the last enemy that you kill. So you get 15 to 20 for each goblin and 75 xp for the ogre.
Please dont stop releasing this, i freaking love the way you play and the storytelling, also, 2 episodes in a day? man WHAT A RIDE, cant wait to play this on PS5, you sold me on this man! keep it up (please)

Kinda wish there was a "loot all" option for when you have so many bodies in one area to check for loot. One of the only minor gripes I've had with the game so far lol
1:51:56 if this had been a table top D&D game, the DM would have rolled to see if the goblins woke up from battle noise (especially the ones further away) for each round of combat with the Bugbear.
So I just discovered in Blighted Village. The doors to the left of the Teleport Rune, enter them, loot and such but, look for the wooden door on the floor behind the Bar. Once in this room, there is a lever behind a stack of crates, pull it, this will open the HUGE book case, go in there, you will come to a Mirror, be sure to save the game before speaking to this mirror, once that is finished you enter a laboratory! I mean its like Silence of the Lambs, one room to another and another, etc... find a book of They or something and some rare metal Def gloves.
This is the third playthrough I'm watching now after MadMorphs, and ESO's Evil playthrough. Having so much fun watching especially seeing again so many things that I haven't seen so far. Thanks for the content!
you stopped the rite of thornes by killing Khaga. if you didn't stop that ritual and went to that temple area (Act 1.5), then when you return to the Grove, it would be Thorned off and all the tieflings would be dead.

Gale has become my version of Ab-serd. He's currently level 5. Level 1 each in Wizard, Sorcerer (Draconic), Warlock (Great Old One), Cleric (War Domain), Bard. And weirdly, he's actually doing good.
I think he needs to make fewer tactical mistakes if he wants to succeed in more difficult fights. Like in the goblin camp battle he didn’t use the quazit and hit his own character with Magic Missile...
0 TPKs and currently on episode 15! Mistakes happen my man. I promise you if you were to upload your own gameplay people would be able to pick out plenty of the ones you do.

I also had trouble trying to dig up that chest by the act 2 road. I had just done a deep organization of my inventory and I was flabbergasted that it wasn't registering my shovel XD I had to put it in a bag for it to register
Your role play is amazing, your knowledge of the lore is truly impressive too, tho you are going to need to power game way harder than this if you're ever going to beat this on hard. Cleric, barbarian, warlock and rogue is likely the most effective all round party if you don't want to long rest too much.
I haven’t played this game but I’ve watched every let’s play episode you have done on it and from what I see your ranger needs some serious practice with a sword h misses ALOT. I still love the content keep up the good gaming.

Speaking of the folk hero insp point... A really useful video for you would be examples of what gives each background insp in the game...we have vids of what desc of each background but their most important feature is how to get insp with each background

I am very familiar with many of the feats! Just because I don't take many of them on this run doesn't mean I don't like them :-D On a first run I cared more about ability scores as I had no idea what to expect difficulty wise out of the game.
Karlack and Wyll ended up being way cooler than I thought they would be. And it kind of messed up my party organization lol. I think I will be swapping ppl in and out a lot. I really wanted to focus on Astarion, but Wyll and Karlacks stuff is much more immediate.

Speaking of the folk hero insp point... A really useful video for you would be examples of what gives each background insp in the game...we have vids of what desc of each background but their most important feature is how to get insp with each background
I know i'm definitely late to this video but I didn't see anyone else mention this, theres a small chest that you completely missed at 1:58:06 - 1:58:09 to the left of your character kinda hidden by the bushes lol
You need to try more feats. They are way more fun than just taking the ability score
I am very familiar with many of the feats! Just because I don't take many of them on this run doesn't mean I don't like them :-D On a first run I cared more about ability scores as I had no idea what to expect difficulty wise out of the game.
Karlack and Wyll ended up being way cooler than I thought they would be. And it kind of messed up my party organization lol. I think I will be swapping ppl in and out a lot. I really wanted to focus on Astarion, but Wyll and Karlacks stuff is much more immediate.
1:48:23 you clearly know way more about this game than me,but I was watching another let’s play that was selecting bonus dice differently than you here and clicked the thing above the bonus to add it in, which you didn’t and looks like you’re missing out on the extra bonus you’re trying to add in no?
ive been noticing this frequently. I know this is months ago and hes probably realized by now but yeah he never adds guidance. He chooses to show his bonus options but never clicks to actually add guidance to his roll
