For example, it’s not as if there _literally_ zero case against Trump in NY, as if the prosecution just said “screw it, let’s charge him with armed robbery because he deserves it!” There has to be at least _some_ plausible violation of a law… and frankly much of what we rightly identify as bad and corrupt motives for political prosecutions are not in any way illegal. We have such a political divide now that we were unable to get Congress to appoint a bipartisan commission to investigate and explain what went on January 6th 2021 when the Capitol was attacked.
A House proposal to create a bipartisan commission on the style of the 9-11 Commission - equal numbers of Republicans and Democrats - only received support from 35 Republicans, which did not include their leader Kevin McCarthy. In the Senate it only included five Republicans which did not include its leader Mitch McConnell. Unlike President Bush with the 9-11 Commission which he approved of even though he knew it would be critical, Ex-President Trump was opposed to the bipartisan committee bill.
To this day the American people have only the individual court cases from several hundred people who were convicted and the partisan committee established in the House to do the investigation as the only official sources of information for what went on that day January 6th and how it happened. We are that divided politically as a nation.

Trump seems 100% focused on the future rather than the past. His operating philosophy seems to be: success is the best revenge, so lets succeed asap. If you create a legacy of peace, prosperity & freedom, your opponents oppose you at their own political loss.
So all of this crime may go unpunished. How would you have him balance delivering justice with achieving the success he promised?

What promised did Trump fulfil in his first term? No wall, if it was built there would have been no boarder crisis right now. Trump did not get the US out of any foreign wars, he did increase support for the Ukraine civil war, Syrian war, and Afghanistan war. Did not cancel DACA on day one or ever. Did not bring back manufacturing.
