The Indian army is the worst army among all China's opponents. China's war of resistance against Japan lasted 14 years, the Chinese civil war lasted 4 years, the Korean War lasted 3 years, China's self-defense counterattack against Vietnam lasted 2 months, and China's border war with Vietnam lasted 10 years. India's understanding of "war" is too narrow. We Chinese believe that India has never experienced a real war. In 1962, in the eyes of the Chinese, it was not a war, it was just an armed conflict between China and India. In 1962, the short armed conflict of only 32 days continued India's nightmare for decades. What makes the Chinese feel funny is that a border conflict has turned India into a "Battle for the Defense of the Capital of New Delhi".
We were not fully armed, our soldiers were using WW2 weapons, air force was just used to drop supplies, we were heavily outnumbered. Hats off to PVC Maj Shaitaan Singh and his company.
We have better positions, our Airforce and Army has better high altitude warfare capabilities. Bharat is most probably the best country in the high altitude warfare, solders from US, UK Russia frequently comes at High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS), which is one of the most elite military training centers in the world.
Because of its experience in fighting wars in mountain regions for over 50 years, as well as its history of recruitment of natives from the Himalayan regions of India and Nepal (such as Gurkha, Kumaon, Garhwal and Dogras), Indian Mountain Warfare Units are considered among the best in the world.
Even today we have better capabilities, many experience in the high altitude warfare because of the Himalayan wars, IAF(Indian Airforce) has better edge then PLAF(Peoples Libration Airforce).
In the case of fourth Indo-china war we have to fight high altitude warfare, in this case we have high edge.
At that time(1962) we have Airforce and we must have used it. At Whatever condatiins.

Sir , अगर भारत की सेना 1962 के समय अगर तैयार रहता तो और संसाधन इंफ्रा ये सब मजबूत रहता । नेहरू का चीनी प्रेम की बजाए देश हित होता और नेहरू का रवैया चीन से डरने का नही लड़ने का होता तो 1963_1965 तक युद्ध विराम की बजाए लड़ाई जारी रखते और नौसेना , वौसेना का भी इस्तमाल करते तो भारत जीत जाता akshai chin के साथ tibbet , arunchal pradesh भी आजाद हो जाता और जमीनी विवाद भी खत्म हो जाता । क्योंकि 1962 में क्यूबा मिसाइल विवाद चल रहा था अमरीका और रूस के बीच फिर इंटरनेशन सपोर्ट भी मिलता क्योंकि चीन गलत था और हिमालय पे ठंड में बर्फ पड़ती युद्धविराम करना पड़ता फिर । भारत की सेना कभी नहीं हारती है सिर्फ नेता उनकी राजनिति गलत नीति हारती है । हर चीज़ के दो पहलू है फायदे नुकसान इस युद्ध में भी शायद और हजारों इंडियन सैनिक साहिद हो जाते क्योंकि युद्ध लंबा चलता और देश की आर्थिक हालत बेकार हो जाता जिससे रिकवरी में बहुत साल लगते । पाकिस्तान भी मौके का फायदा उठा कर युद्ध में कश्मीर पे कब्जा करने लिए शामिल हो जाता जैसे उसने 1965 मे हुआ था । टू फ्रंट वार लड़ना पड़ता । सही युद्ध नीति से युद्ध जीत जाते कश्मीर विवाद भी खत्म हो जाता और पाकिस्तान पे कही इलाको पे कब्जा भी । अगर 1990s में जो सरकार ने कैपेटालिजम रिफॉर्म्स ले कर आए थी अगर वो 1960s में ही ले कर आ गए होते तो भारत की आर्थिक विकास होता आज चीन की तरह ही महाशक्ति , आत्मनिर्भर होता ।

Ur Punjab , Rajput regiment etc r incompetent to fight in mountainous region of Arunachal . They were only expert beating civilians in market areas , raping n having enmity with the local ( in those days , not now ) . In 1962 war , China army defeated India in every front . U only know Tawang . In Arunachal there r many fronts , Tawang area is one of them , where at least 3 fronts r there . Reason for defeat of Indian army ; 1: low grade weapons use by India army 2 : Less no of India army , in every front only 70 to 100 fighting with 1000 to 3000 Chinese army . If fight , now also Chinese will defeat India , as in every case Chinese is superior than India . China have stealth fighters n stealth bombers , against India have nothing . It's Tejas , Su 30 , Rafale etc. become useless . Sorry India .
