Just walked the Denver Mural Fest a couple weeks ago and saw this piece live. So awesome man.
thank you fro sharing this! i will be working on a outdoor mural soon and this was very informative because i need a better projector to do 2 separate murals.
Glad it was helpful!
That was PRECISELY the info I was looking for! Thank you so much, Mr. Detour! 🌷🌹My mural is 75 feet long (& 23 ft. high), but I can only project from about 60 feet away, so I have to "cut" the design in 3rds and project 3 times (at least). Having a projector that's bright enough to project 60 feet will make things much easier! ... BTW, your work is excellent!
Thanks for this. Much appreciated.
That was super helpful 😊thank you!
Am just starting to use projector for my murals, was always looking for a projector to use during day time and when there light during nighttime
So thank you for this video and tips
Glad I could help!
Man I wish this came out a few months ago 😆 I went with a Kodak for portability and not needing a outlet. So far so good. But the M7 looks good
oh nice ill have to check out the kodak
I use a Vankyo V630W, & the M7 looks like a good upgrade. I have the same keystone issues for angled work, as my projector does not adjust enough for what I need.
However, my fix is I'm able to 'screen mirror' from my iPad and then distort the image in Photoshop on the fly until I'm happy with the image through the projector. I'm going to do this for my first attempt at a 3D sidewalk scene.
Awesome! That angle issue is always my issue when trying to do work in tight spaces like hallways 😅
i you run it through gimp you can keystone it perfectly with the perspective tool.
Thanks for the feedback! I went with the M7
Good choice!
Awesome
hope it helps!
Billie Holidays 😍
What about stand for it to project on s fownward 45 degree angle to a drafting table or to a wall or overhead to floor??❤😅
These are soo expensive! Can you do the same review but for ones that are like £100*? I'm on a budget 😅
I'll look at reviewing some more affordable ones as well.
I’d also really appreciate this!
Hi, thanks! I paint with a super el cheepo noname proj in pitch dark room and it is depressing. I want to use a proj bright enough to use in indoor daylight.... so i check for a 18 000 lumen and now a see your m7 with only 1 200 lumens look bright... so what do you think about a 18 000 lumen like Toptro brand.... would you paint with m7 or a brighter one indoor daylight? Huge thanks, respect... Mike
Just got mine n the mail after watching your video ! I went with the M7 … question if u don’t mind .. did u purchase the hdmi to Apple device piece from them because mine keeps saying no signal from my phone to iPad ! I’m LOST 😅
Is the M7 a short throw projector? Like how big can the image get when you’re up close to a wall/in a tight space?
I don't think so. the side by side test i did in the first half of the video, i was about 7 feet from the wall.
Hi, I just painted a 56’ mural horizontal, with a very bad projector and I don’t know how it came out so good ! 😅 I’m new in the market thinking about charging $45 per foot. What is you guys opinion please?
Thank you
Alice.
Do you have any recommendations for a projector that can get me an image about 20ft tall with no need for details. I just need one for very crude outlines. I can't spend over $200.
Wireless mirroring from a phone?
Hiw about a laser projector?
How big can I project? I am going to paint a large 40' wall in length, and I am wondering if the AAXA M7 will work or do I need a better projector/? I am also projecting from the floor up, the painting will start at 10' height. Help please!
You can possibly project really wide, but you would have to be farther back. And I would suggest bringing power so that the bulb is brighter.
@@iamdetour thank you very much for taking the time to reply! 💞
I need the big one but with a tripod table
Epsons are pretty good.
I got my M7 and it’s all that you said it would be. It being battery powered is so underrated. It’s so convenient. I love the focus button on the remote, but the con is that it doesn’t have the focus option on the M7. If I lose the remote 🤦🏾♂️….. Thank you so much for the referral Detour
I gotta pray and work hard for this 500 dollars to buy me an M7 that baby so dope
Definitely worth it if doing a ton of work. its one of those pieces of equipment that you build into the budget on a project
@@iamdetour yes you right sir. Its actually a great equipment and necessary for high detailed works
I'm hoping to be able to rent one at an equipment rental place. 🤞🤞
$500 for something you can't control the aspect ratio on?! You gotta be kidding me 😅
I would’ve liked to have listened to the whole video, but the music in the background was so interfering with what you were saying. I couldn’t continue with it too bad because you had a lot of good things to say it was just way too distracting. Please do another one or consider that Point I would’ve liked to have heard what you had to say
Totally agree
I say this with all due respect, please for the love of god add affiliate links!
