I am so excited for a brand new series of regular show. I am a little worried, but I’m hoping that the series will pick up right after the ending of the current regular show series. That would be awesome because that way you can focus on things that the characters have already been doing since the epilogue that would make sense, and I hope that I don’t show that would give regular shell a breath of fresh air but that’s my opinion.

Well its just got epilogue feels to me, if its bad then im not gonna consider it canon, simple as that. At best, its awesome. At worst, more regular show and it sucked but it hurts nothing.
I'll play devil's advocate here, I could say the same about Adventure Time when it ended, it had a very similar ending if not better. It has a chance to just play with stories and cater to more of an adult audience like Fiona and Cake is doing. I hope J.G. just makes it short stories about their lives with minor plot for the sake of a story and continuity.

I find it weird that they removed regular show off of max while they are making more regular show, but I have faith that the revival will be able to live up the potential after the original. Who knows maybe we can have each episode of the main characters Iike mordecai and rigby in different shenanigan’s while skips helps them out in their own time along with benson. We could have interesting cut stories to their families being in the story of the main protagonists including muscle man.
I personally don't think focusing on their kids would be appealing for some fans. We have seen many reboots trying to appeal to the newer generations and failing spectacularly, mostly since they fail to attract new fans and their current fans are turned off by the changes that transform their favorite show turn into some other show they don't recognize
I would love to see how Mordecai got along with this new lady that he met at the art exhibition and fell in love with her to become his acceptable wife at the end of the series to expand the lore a bit.

I think some of the episodes will be about family matters like both mordecais and rugby’s wife’s have beef with each other to see who has the bigger man between them by guilt tripping Mordecai and Rigby into competing And that Mordecai and Rigby will be put on a dangerous adventure where in the end they will fight a big boss and win and that muscle man’s kids will just hit the guy when his down
Tbh i think its going to be a spinoff just from the way it was worded, like don't get me wrong a continuation sounds alright but I would rather have it set in the same universe but with different yet similar characters to breathe new life into it instead of giving us the original cast, however that doesn't mean that they can't still appear in it because I would like to see them return as side characters in some episodes.
I admit, this would be one of the best revivals, in my opinion, until proven otherwise, and this could open up to a crossover with adventure time on Max and TV since both shows are basically back now❤

As a guy that absolutely loved Regular show I never finished it or saw the ending so I'm just here like.. really doing myself a disservice here having not watched it all.
The way og regular show had prepped us for adulthood with analogies like soda and wing kingdom for alc and bars, as well as post-college life is great. Maybe having this one be actually adult themed with all that would be interesting for mid life.
I kind of hope the new revival is more mature and are allowed to swear and make jokes they couldn’t do before. Obviously just because they can, doesn’t mean they should over do it. I also hope for Skips’ story to close or leave with a satisfying ending.

I'm not a fan of turning "cartoons" into "adult animations". I like the limitations. It makes for better creativity. I get that Television today likes to have a firm divide between what's for kids and what is made for adults. It tends to skew to either "adult party" or "4kids". Fionna and Cake did it okay. I hope it keeps that trend.
