DIY ultra short distance projector

You only need 2 mirrors, a shoe box and tape to make your normal projector capable of ultra short distance projections. Just put it next to a wall and you will get a sufficiently large picture. Here is a short how to video on my build.

This is a creative little fix and gives that 200 lumen projector some real decent size. Only thing, I physically cringed at 0:10 😭 Please cut AWAY from yourself. It can be easy to lose control especially when trying to force the cut.

Currently my regular projector provides a 3 meters diagonal screen. I want similar screen size so please tell me which mirror size do I need to get an ultra short distance?

The more mirrors you use to lower brightness and quality you will get. More ghosting effect unless you use first surface mirror. Better if he place projector closer to the wall and use only one mirror putting it farther away getting same size better results.

lmao i cut myself once doing exactly that, it was in afternoon i sat there in pool of blood scared to tell mom, later pain was unbearable and j told her got down to doctor did bandage n came home after that never used that thing again

The problem might be, that the first mirror is too high so that it partly blocks the second mirror's reflection...
