- Hello and welcome
In this episode of refurbishing the running gear of my Dad's Series IIa 88, I establish that just because something is fitted that way, it doesn't mean that it is correct. Anyway this one is all about the back end - Fnarr
loads of fun
Enjoy

I'm subscribed and so is my wife🤣
Good content. :) Good old car never dies. :)
Definitely chuck the old rusty diff straight into the scrap !
Fun to see the mix-and-march getting the old girl out of the workshop and back on the road or wherever…..
Enjoy your videos. With the seal reference I'm wondering if you are a Taryl Fixes All fan as I am?
So I’ve been subscribed to this channel since 2019 or so and I always like your videos because, as you say, it helps the algorithms.
So I was surprised to find that I was no longer subscribed! 🤷🏻♂️
Very strange.
RUclips seems to be making some weird changes, my Premium account used to be $12.99/ month, now they just dropped $18.99/ month on me!
I may have to cancel it because it’s an unreasonable increase in price.
I re subscribed to this channel.
thank you for resubscribing.
Definitely subscribed mate, all the way from New Zealand. Really informative videos, and they way you do things is fine - I swear at my Landrovers on a daily basis!
I've got a 110 servo to fit to mine , no idea when I'm doing it as it's a project car 😅
Subscriber numbers low? We subscribers can think of ourselves as members of a club of the specially discerning. I subscribed initially because I had a P38 (don't laugh, in Australia they don't rust as much) that was intended as a rolling restoration project. I decided I needed a restoration project that was beyond my skills anyway less than I needed a really usable Range Rover. The P38 therefore made a minimal contribution toward the acquisition of an L405 Vogue, which is a beautiful place to be and which devours the countryside very nicely. But I still like to watch you performing miraculous resurrections of the terminally corroded.
Lost count of the number of rear diffs I put in my series 2a , half shafts broke too regular for words , my 2a had a BMC 2.2 diesel in it , no more powerful than the LR diesel but more reliable, taxis go on forever .
I’m subscribed Richard. Another great video! Reminds me, time will tell if my 1971 P6 V8 auto diff is in good order or needs a rebuild at some point as part of the nut and bolt restoration….You’ll be the expert to help me out 👍
I'm sure my servo thats on my series 2 is off a defender.
Lots of fun! Cheers.
C'mon use some plastic puddin on the rear axle it will be fine add some chewing gum it will be perfect :). I know nothing about land rovers, of course the defender box will fit , drill a few holes and break out the welder :)
Good Evening All 😅
Love your channel
thank you
I´m still here! And I love your content!
Keep making these :)
