That's a sweet upgrade. I had no idea that the pajero sport came with bigger brakes, I'll have to scour for those calipers.
On the wheel bearing nut, I normally just use put a flat head screw driver at an angle on one of those holes, and then just gently keep tapping it with a hammer until it feels tight.

Great video! Now I need to upgrade to 16 inch rims! I have a 98 montero with the winter package and I can not stop with 33s. Keep up the great work!

Was planning to do this soon, I thought I needed sport calipers as well. Thanks for saving me a bunch of money 🤣

Good job! After having the hubs on and off lots of times on my 97, I stopped doing the factory wheel bearing procedure and just get it tight enough to where there's no play. Are you planning a solid axle? I hate the front ends on these things.

Would it be possible to give the code of the caliper brackets of the MonteroSport? I see a couple of brackets for sale on ebay and I just want to make sure before I purchase them.

Yeah i did. It had an aftermarket inline fuel filter in it. I took that out and it was as good as new.

@@evansautomotive307 Thank you for the fast reply and information. One more, I have a parts Raider with the V6 5 speed. Do you know if there is a diesel that fits that bellhouseing also or would I have to swap that bell housing and use that transmission with the same diesel? (Said to be more robust transmission) TY again.

@@lking3604 Not sure of a direct fit diesel but i have seen people use bellhousing adapters for the v5mt1. Not sure where it comes from though
