Been listening to Joe for years. In my opinion the best blues/rock guitarist around. Love SRV, Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Vanhalen, Joe has flawless technique and can do it all like the immortal greats. Thank you for posting this old clip of young Joe.
I really regret not knowing about this guy sooner. The best thing is though, the past 18 months I have had a massive catalogue of music to get to know and love. This has to be one of my favourites! Thank you to Joe for making the last year and a half a musically enriched experience.
The bad thing is Eric said that even he had fun playing with Joe and he enjoyed his time doing, that that really wasn't his thing. He went his way and Joe went his way. I wish these guys could get back together but just won't happen. Eric is not a bass player rather a musician that plays bass. That was the key unlocking a different level of Joe!!
Man I get tired just trying to keep up with Joe, pickin that guitar of his..AWESOM, Totally AMAZING! Absolutely THE BEST!!!! Love the way he sings too, as well! In " ALL" of his songs! Joe definitely has a voice for blues!
O kay, hier mal für die Deutsch JB Fan's: Joe war mit seiner alten Besetzung (eben dieser hier) wirklich viel besser als heute. Es ist halt auch bei ihm wie bei allen Anderen - Kommerz macht kaputt. Hört Euch Talking the Hit an. Das waren seine wirklich grossen Zeiten.
Best lineup Joe has played with, and his own playing and singing was more exciting back then. He should never have listened to producer Kevin Shirley to change everything. Eric was great as a foil to Joe's playing and Kevin is rock solid.
I just feel like a freakin idiot that I was living 1 and a half hours from there when they did this show and I had no idea who he was!!! So happy for him that he is achieving the success he so richly deserves.
wow, thanks for posting....what a blast from the past!! the guitar solo....then into pain and sorrow....what a power trio.....pure and priceless.. thanks again
I have been following this man since around 92 and love finding old footage of him back in his hungry days. I personally feel that Joe Bonamassa is the most talented player of our time and that we haven't even yet seen all he is capable of :D. Thank you for posting this!! Long Live Mr. JOE BONAMASSA, a Musicians Musician!
Wish you would do some more rock songs every now and then are a rock album in 2016. BELIVE me I dig your music saw you 2015 NOLA. But you sure can ROCK a guitar to big time ! 😎🎸
Strat Joe is superior to Les Paul Joe. strat Joe was experimental, more psychedelic, more technical, more variety. I love Joe but god his early stuff is a blessing
Okay so a little bit SRV, some Eric Johnson for good Messure, and a Whole Big Cup of Joe. Yeah I agree Linoge Z, 15 Years ago - Smokin Hot and still emotionally charged - He's still amazing today, but too Machine Like.
The screaming * whistling * yelling from the audience killed it for me. - NO RESPECT /// for other people. That's why they invented clapping. Joe rocks like Jimi Hendrix
Eric is freaking awesome! this is the best line up EVER.

What about in the last 2 years with the 'Scamdemic"?
those were great shows. I remember the Roscoe days.
The old Joe is simply amazing
Well, this was a nice find nearly 10 years after! Thank you!
god... this is the joe I miss.. the new one is way to clean
Flawless delivery, absolutely epic, final boss mode level guitar mastery
This guy's amazing!
joe was it his best when played with Eric czar. The bass player pushed him... nowadays he plays with side men... competent but they do not stretch Joe
I can't agree more. Eric Czar is a genius at what he does, right up there with Stanley Clarke.

Bonamassa's best band, hands down, Czar pushed joe to his best playing.
Smokin' Joe has been the boss of all the bosses (Il Capo di Tutti Capi) since he was four years old.

Uh - What ??
Ft Wayne and Rockpalast 05 are similarly powerful shows
Best lineup Joe has played with, and his own playing and singing was more exciting back then. He should never have listened to producer Kevin Shirley to change everything. Eric was great as a foil to Joe's playing and Kevin is rock solid.
DAMMM y'all are ROCKEN this set Digging It. Thanks you and the Band .

My brain just fucking melted lol

another great tune by the man...
One of the guys few hear of, but is really great.
Blood pumping Pain And Sorrow.......
joe the man just electric and powerful
Joe the Strat guy was better than Gibson player any day!!
Strat Joe is superior to Les Paul Joe. strat Joe was experimental, more psychedelic, more technical, more variety. I love Joe but god his early stuff is a blessing
I love you Joe!
Thank you for good video
JB was on his way to being something Eric Johnson always wanted to be ...

There was a dash of EVH too
Totally agree MrSrvrules43!!!
feed back.......where would rock be with out it huh?
I had no idea Mitch Hedberg played guitar?
Wish I could find the Tangiers set
Starts out with distinctly Eric Johnson sound, then he gets serious.
The screaming * whistling * yelling from the audience killed it for me. - NO RESPECT /// for other people. That's why they invented clapping. Joe rocks like Jimi Hendrix
he wants his riffs back lol
If Eric Johnson and Eddie Vanhalen had a love child... Damn!!
but found that he'd been replaced ...
6:51 what is this effect? a kind of a delay? would like to get a specific stomp box name.
I think honestly it's just a delay pedal like boss dd4 and then turn the mix high up and use volume swells on the guitar volume knob
@@TheoSalvatore thanks. I figured Out that the Pedal is a line6 DL4
@@martinbohl8732 ah ok cool, I'll look into it I would like to get one
Eric Johnson called...
I don’t like that cat’s playing. That cat should stick to rhythm work.
Damn, he used to be great
