You are right! Tom Morello (of the bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave) is in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock on the DS game software!😊
And he's been a fan of BABYMETAL since their debut!😁😁😁

Hey man, nice to see you're back with this suggestion, hope to see you around with more BM songs.
Tom Morello is a guitar legend from famous band like Rage Against The Machine and Audioslave among other projects, you probably already know him from Guitar Hero 3, he's one of the boss in that game, he's wearing a different hat there.
We got another banger for Japanese festival or any festival around, they performed this recently at Houston starting The Babyklok Tour in the US as well in all the cities they've been around, hopefully they will do the same at Blue Ridge Rock, Aftershock or Louder Than Life and get the crowd going nuts with this.
It's their first song released with this new BM reborn and formation.
The live debut was at Apocrypha - Another One exclusive show right before the track released, it was fun and totally unexpected, everyone was having a blast and even started with a Kami Band solo after a while without it.
The song title is Metali!! (metal + matsuri, which is a Japanese festival) and you can hear it in the spoken section when one of them (MomoMetal) is doing the Kabuki moves style.
"Wasshoi" (not washer lol) is another shout used in Japanese festival when men are carrying the shrine, similar to sore and soya you can hear in Megitsune and Karate. The traditional Japanese instrument you can hear in the beginning is a shamizen, also used in Megitsune.
I can totally see why they pick Tom Morello on this, the groove, the catchiness, the super energetic jump and those typical 90's vibes at funk or alternative metal live concerts. No wonder you're confused in the title saying this is J-rock when you don't know about funk metal or alternative metal, do yourself a favor and watch "Killing In The Name Of".
    Next suggestion:
    - Mirror Mirror official MV.
Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘🎸

Another energetic, engaged, fun reaction. I think it's so cool that in the last two months you've gotten to experience the ladies from when they were in their mid teens to now when they're in their 20's. That's 10 years of consistent excellence and an always growing, evolving sound. Really glad you've hung in here with Babymetal. you've made for an enjoyable collaboration with your reactions.

BABYMETAL = Pure fun positive energy. The masks and video actually does remind me of Demon Slayer. It's like the girls showed up in the sword smith's village to make them all dance. 🤘🦊🤘

"Wasshoi! Wasshoi! Wasshoi! Wasshoi!“ Great reaction. The live performances of this have been completely wild and the crowds are going nuts! 🤘🤪🤘
This is Momometal's first official music video since she was revealed as the official new member in April and she even got her own solo part with the spoken kabuki theatre section.
The song title translates as 'Metali' (or 'Metari') which is a fusion of the words metal and matsuri (festival). The song is about a Metal Village holding a metal festival, so they have included all the matsuri shouts everybody would be calling out as encouragement to the people carrying heavy floats etc like "Sore, Sore", "Dokoisho" and "Wasshoi!".
They are inviting us all to dance - I am reliably informed there is something in the lyrics (Su sings it and it is in Momometal's kabuki section) about we are all idiots or fools - the idiots who watch and the idiots who dance ... so as we're all here and we're all idiots why just watch, we may as well all dance.
Tom Morello was lead guitarist with Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave and a couple more bands I think.

Yep that's pretty much right. Its basically "you're an idiot if you dance and an idiot if you watch, so DANCE!" And in the middle Kabuki reference part (which is in much more old fashioned stylized language) she adds: "when you dance, do Metari! Metari!"

Metali/Metari is the title, and doesnt really have an english translation partly cuz its also made up in japanese. But roughly theyre making "metal" or "metaru" into a noun that you do. It also mashes "metal" with "matsuri" or festival
Wasshoi is a word that typically is used in japanese festivals when ppl are carrying the portable shrine (whoch is v heavy).
The middle part sounds kinda old fashioned cuz its a direct reference to kabuki theater (which is a traditional form of theater in japan) which has v stylized speaking and movement. Women are not allowed to do kabuki so its definitely a song that bucks tradition and expected polite behavior

Title: Metali (pr.: met-ah-lee). This is a party/celebration/festival song, related to long standing Japanese cultural celebrations.

    Google Translate:
you desperately need to see "An Unhelpful Guide to BABYMETAL" to understand the phenomenon of Babymetal.
I like your reaction, pausing doesn't bother me.
But please...get the term anime out of your head while reacting to the Babymetal MV.
(More communication with fans would be nice, through the comments you are served everything that is important to fans: "Foxhole", "Fox Good", "Kitsune up", "The One" etc.)
