"Spiritual successor to Hunt Down The Freeman"
It's the cutscenes, something about them just has that same energy, I felt it too
“The cut scenes are the best part of the game because you aren’t playing the game”
-Pyrocynical
@@venia..4529 shut up bot
Thats a big ooof
The way they light the cutscenes is pretty much lighting up the faces and leaving everything else in the dark, that cutscene at the beginning looks just like the part where the HDTF guy meets the evil guy 🤣
Like It's cringy fanfiction thinking that it's the most mind blowing thing ever?! *IT'S EXACTLY THAT*
It's like they were commissioned to make a Call of Duty pRon parody, but then three quarters through the production were told they need to actually add gameplay and make it "serious."
This is the most 2010's looking shooter in regards to gameplay to the point it looks like the kind of generic FPS you see somebody play in TV or movies. I'm amazed somebody actually managed to pull such a thing off and I'm not sure if I'm impressed or pissed off about it.
This is the state of gaming haha
Righteous Slaughter 9 😂
Maybe a little bit of both. Pissed that they felt this was worthy of a release and impressed at just how bad it really is.
I think the biggest takeaway from the review is this: C’mon Bro
@@MitchMatrixx thats exactly what i was thinking and saying, Like damn son.
I actually used to play a lot of crossfire back in the day and even I wasn't excited for this. The fact its console only is super perplexing. Especially since most people who game in china do so on PC/Pc cafes.
Yeah it's what you would call "a massive fucking mistake"
@@im.weasel i was actually surprise that they would make a AAA game out of Crossfire, but expected it to be a massive flop though
I’m loving it it’s a pretty dope free game with some interesting ideas I can see it being way more fun with more modes and maps
It's actually on PC in Asia but it's called CrossfireHD
The first time i heard about this game is like those Counter Strike Online 2 it must be i got soo excited then i read it's console only and thats it im done it gonna be bad
"Crossfire is the worst thing ever made by another human being"
My mother after giving birth to me: Ah, a challenger!
finally a challenger for me!
Amateurs
Low key deep comment bro.
Harsh brother. I'm sure there are plenty of things that humans have created that are worse than Crossfire X. Diabolical things. Cov1d, The Spanish Inqusition, Hitler, Justin Bieber. All truly evil. No i'd put Crossfire X maybe just behind Anthrax (the poison not the band) on my scale of evil.
Goddamn chief, that self burn is rough
Little correction: the single-player engine is not UE4, but Remedys own northlight engine. Only the MP is based on UE4.
It looked like Source 2 engine lol
So that explains the campaign footage looks really 30 fps, while the multiplayer is butter smooth?
@@hienapple4664 The SP has two modes at least on Xbox Series X: Quality and performance. On Quality it runs only with 30FPS but with Raytracing and in Performance it's running at 60FPS without Raytracing.
I can't tell you which settings Series S or Xbox One are using.
@@MedalOfKranz Series S is 60 FPS for sure, can confirm that.
This review is so lazy they can't recognize when a separate executable launches or even read the credits. Yeah this campaign is low tier in the AAA shooter space but you can at least have a baseline understanding of what you are playing and then make interesting criticism. Just watch digital foundry, they have a larger knowledge base and accomplish the easy work of criticism as well.
Man, this is disappointing. Remedy knows what the hell they're doing most of the time. What happened here?!?!
Sam Lake not involved I assume.
I think this was definitely just a pay check for them while they focus of Alan Wake 2, disappointing but I really can’t see Remedy dropping the ball this hard otherwise
They got a big paycheque from china that can go towards whatever proper game they make next
Remedy didn't make the game/engine Smilegate did Remedy only made some campaigns for it
Microsoft is involved dont be suprised
You know a game is bad when both Gman and IGN are in agreement. IGN, where most everything gets at least a 7 out of 10.
my god i thought ign giving bad games bad reviews was a myth.
One of IGN's only good opinions considering they gave 2042 a 7
@@RaptorPegasus what? They gave bf 2042 a 7/10?
What a joke
"It blows" 10/10 IGN
@@RaptorPegasus it is a 7 IMO. It’s bland and unoriginal but it’s good enough that players still log in everyday to play. Game has a lot of issues sure, but let’s not pretend like every game we don’t like is a 1.
Trying to do Bullet Time with hitscan is kinda stupid. The biggest reason why Max Payne's bullet time worked as well as it did is because every bullet is actually a projectile with travel time. With Hitscan guns, it's just slow-mo for possibly easier aiming.
Yep!
"Gamers are getting smarter"
Mate, people eat up CoD, Madden and FIFA every year.
Their markets are shrinking or becoming over-saturated to the point that some big titles flop in spectacular fashion. Maybe gamers aren't getting smarter(every day we get thousands of new dumb kids entering the market), but the smart ones are moving on to better things and it is having an effect.
I wouldn't put CoD at the same level as Madden. Madden is way worse than you think.
At least CoD is playable and can be enjoyable...
Lowest Common Denominator.
Gotta sell this to people who don't really play most games.
and then lose their shit when the devs behind those annual franchises tell them that there isn't going to be another annual release for a year
The theme of the whole Crossfire franchise is shamelessness. It only got popular in China because it was ran by the internet tycoon that is Tencent. Tencent had pretty much the entire Chinese internet user base by ripping off a message chatting software and it became the messenger everybody used. And Tencent was able to push this soulless Korean Counter-Strike rip-off to all its users down to the 5 years olds in a time where nobody knew what Steam is and internet cafes are running pirated versions of CS1.6.
In the original CrossFire, there was rampant micro-transaction, cosmetics and pay-to-win elements. The meta weapon back then was a silenced M4A1 with camo that somehow had more ammo, more damage (capable of 1 shot headshot unlike the F2P version) and faster fire rate and low recoil. The game was a tool of scamming teenagers out of their pocket money and it was way before any of the western games companies like EA has caught on the trend. Talking about innovation amiright?
In the end of the day, this series just personifies everything that is rotten with online gaming in Southeast Asia countries and it's utterly not ashamed of it. Tencent proudly proclaimed CrossFire was the FPS game that had the biggest player base in the world and sometimes put patriotic spins on how well the game is doing, anything to just earn more money. CrossfireX is just a continuation of that line of thinking. It's just a spectacle they think they needed to keep their braindead player base playing. "Hey look, we can also make games with good graphics. Isn't this what you all wanted? Now give us more moeny."
i mean, until 2012-2013 even with the p2w bullshit, the game was still fun to play, in brazil the game became so popular that it even surpassed counterstrike for a while, yeah the whole VIPs and Black Market lootboxes were really bullshit, but even with free weapons+those timed weapons from a free shop it was enjoyable at least, now the game is bloated to shit, they managed to fuck up the p2w to the point that they needed to give free "VIPs" to try to balance the game a little bit and even then the game runs like shit even on newer computers
@@TheGhoulKhz Damn, had no idea it got popular in Brazil also. Cool to know
@@TheGhoulKhz It doesn't really make sense to me to play this over CS 1.6 or CSS. CSS prob costs as much as 1 microtransaction in crossfire. If you are from mainland China, well then you got no other choice i guess, but besides that, i would never pay for that rip off.
I remember alot of games here were insanely p2w like Blackshot by Garena and now with the rise of mobile games here, everything now has microtransaction. Its insane how this behaviour is normalised
For Remedy, this felt like the equivalent of big name actors doing a role for a film just to collect their paycheck. They do the bare minimum of developing a game and called it a day.
Like Bruce Willis appearing for 5 minutes in a movie that doesn't really have the budget for him so he just stands in one location and pretend he's involved and then the movie puts him on the cover and star-billing.
They probably had the interns work on this while the senior devs focus on Alan Wake 2
Did MS pay them to make this and keep it exclusive? Like i'm playing Control right now for the first time and it's super interesting and so imaginative. I hope this isn't a sign remedy is going broke or something.
If this is what you're saying and they're just like "More money for our coffers and a bit more security for our employees" then i'm fine with it.
I could see this as a pathetic attempt by MS to pay a studio to make a game that will beg asia to care about them.
This is one of the worst games I've ever played, not even in a "so bad it's good" way. There's just nothing redeemable about this game. Makes for good content so, thanks Microsoft?

Xbox didn't develop the game, genius
Apparently the multiplayer aspect of this game was developed by a company named Smilegate, meanwhile Remedy focused on developing the campaign. It's been said that the multiplayer runs on a completely different engine, and has been on PC for years. Remedy, on the other hand, developed the Campaign portion from the Northlight engine.
Source: The Verge "Control developer Remedy explores military shooters with CrossfireX on Xbox One"
The multiplayer is on UE4.

The new straight to dvd lmao
@@WH250398 exactly LMFAO
please pin this comment, Game Pass is cool and whatnot but it´s got a lot of filler and janky games like this

The campaign uses Remedy's Northlight engine.
The multiplayer uses Unreal engine.
The actual Crossfire game is a lot of fun. Played the 1.6 clone a lot when i was younger as i could not afford to buy games at the time.
This just looks like one of those games you see kids play in TV shows or movies in the background.
One point of content:
- The campaign isn't on UE4, its Remedy's Northlight Engine. Which is about the only thing it has going for it, because visually it looks pretty good. Multiplayer uses UE4. You can tell its Northlight too due to the rendered faces.
Good review as usual. So its a poor mans CoD on a hi-def engine.
If nothing else I appreciate the idea of having episodes where you play on different sides of a war with each side being portrayed as good or evil depending on your character. There's a lot of good character work and dramatic storytelling to be found from something like that.
Just, y'know, something else.
Ikr? That could be made into an interesting narrative. Maybe even replay the same missions but from the other guys' perspectives
Half Life did it 22 years ago
You know, the fact that the campaign was developed by Remedy of all of people was just really heartbreaking.
The studio that developed Max Payne has now made us feel maximum pain with this generic first person Xbox exclusive, what a shame.
Pain to the max!
Honestly feels more like a paycheck from Smilegate (Crossfire's original developer) or from some South Korean investor. "Here's 50 million. Do what you can and keep the rest."
Xbox created his own HAZE.
All it is is a Paycheck for Remedy so they can work on Alan Wake 2. They were contracted to make a generic action game for an Chinese (or korean or whatever) company. I guess they are a bit low on cash. It's not like they spent a lot of time designing and making the game, hell they never even promoted it as their own or talked about it, any new interviews with them are only about Alan Wake 2.
I never could get into Max Payne. I tried, but it just did not sit well with me.
Omg when that dude yelled, "STOOPPP" at 1:40 that shit was the equivalent of your younger sibling screaming when you take their toys away. I can't believe they kept that in the game LOL 😆
Stahpppp
I'm kind of sick and tired of modern military shooter campaigns like these. I miss the days of Soldier of Fortune, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and No One Lives Forever where you picked your gear and gunned down everything(or sneak by) with no iron sights or regenerating health. Also CX's campaign uses the Northlight engine which was used in Control/Quantum Break, the multiplayer part is powered by UE4.
I recently went back in time and replayed Mercenaries 2. Dropping Chinese made fuel air bombs into a Venezuelan ghetto to protect an oil corporations assets from Jamaican pirates is one hell of an experience.
The first part of this comment feels straight out of 2012 lol
You know there hasn't actually been a 3 hour long linear scripted modern military shooter in a while outside of COD because people got sick of these things being almost always universally bad.
So if anything CFX is a throwback to those 2010-2012 shooter campaigns there were never all that good in the first place
@Mark Gaming You can add FEAR as well
Man Soldier of Fortune is a game nobody still talks about. I remember watching my cousin play the multiplayer and being shocked by how violent it was . I guess this would have been early 2000s
The idea of a new Crossfire actually had me interested, not that i played the original, but i was aware it had basic dated graphics so people could play it on their toasters, that it kinda copied CS gunplay and had a loose free to play mentality that was silly with its cosmetics and... that sounds kind of appealing in a market dominated by COD and BF.
A for fun anything goes team deathmatch/capture the flag whatever with people wearing chicken suits and bikinis, that seems like the appeal of Crossfire, not... Modern Duty of Battle War.
@GmanLives, I'd move to Australia for an autograph if it wasn't for all the spiders. Your vids make my day dude.
Don't forget the snakes & sharks too. Plus drop bears.
Ehh, there's poisonous spiders everywhere. Take it from me that Recluse Spiders which are all over the US ain't nothing to F*ck with. Blood poisoning and a volcano of puss are not fun.
Tell ya what. I'll take snakes, spiders and drop bears over grizzlies, wolves, mountain lions and rabies any fucken day.
Well, well. Generic military shooters, released exclusively on Xbox, based on F2P + P2W online shooter. What could possibly go wrong?
I love how you had oblivion music playing during that opening minute of "dialogue. "
hi, doggy
wait, that's not the game
Isn't Crossfire the series with the single largest active playerbase ever or something? I always thought that was fascinating from a western perspective.
It is, it even beats the likes of Minecraft and Candy Crush with over 1 billion accounts. Perfectly shows the size of the untapped gaming markets in Asia
I could've have swore in the video he was talking about that at some point.
I thought that was MAG. Some generic console fps...
@@MoeFokah Just read up on that, had never heard of it before - that game apparently holds the record for the highest amount of players per session in a console FPS at 256.
@@csabaweisz8791 That's so damn crazy to think - I almost want to play it just to understand what it is about it that makes it so appealing to people in those regions.
It's objectively an important game and it's so weird to not know anything about it at all.
Came here expecting Gman to deliver his line: It doesn't make any SENSE! And I wasn't disappointed
This feels like an early 2010s ps3 cod clone, how the hell remedy was involved in this ?
It was just a Paycheck for them so they can work on Alan Wake 2. They never promoted it or even talked about it like It's one of their games. That's what it is too, a generic shooter. You have to think the money they got for doing this will go into making Alan Wake 2.
@@Gatorade69 that makes alot of sense, thanks for the explanation
Honestly, with Remedy having developed some of the best games I've ever played, Alan Wake being one of my favorite games of all time, this disappointment I feel right now is immeasurable. I'm sitting here refusing to believe they could be responsible for this thing, and if it comes to light that they got the reigns taken away from them, it honestly wouldn't surprise me. Don't worry, Gman, because you have convinced at least one person not to play it, and that person is me.
Remedy have been gravitating towards story and narratation - particualrly in Alan wake - for a long time... And Gman does mention how the game is very nice looking. Remedy are not in it for game play, but an 'expereince'.
Is your day ruined too?
@@alexsilva28 I was hoping someone would finish that, and yes, yes it is.

Anyways Allen wake you will fix up your problems to be honest hey at least they're not going to the dark side or something
Alan Wake is one of my favorite games ever. So to hear Remedy was co-developing this is putting me through the Five Stages of Grief.
It's just a Paycheck for them so they can work on Alan Wake 2. It's why they have never really promoted or put their name on this game.
@@Gatorade69 Even then, if they do it for paycheck you atleast put some effort into it, its hilarious how you guys keep defending remedy.
Last i heard the arkane studios helped some level in bioshock 2 for the same reasons yet lots of people hated bioshock 2, oh the irony
@@luminosity01It’s very unusual for remedy standards also if you have a brain people are defending remedy since they are not known for making terrible games and quantum break which isn’t bad a game but a good game is no we’re near as bad as this game.
Thank you for someone finally admitting that a market like China will always be a success (marginally, hugely, etc.) just because of the sheer size of their population.
Job done, and done well mate 👍
Great and entertaining review, but given that it's not released on PC, I'd have passed on it anyway though.
You've successfully convinced me not to spend any money or time on this series of games! 😄
hes convinced me to get it tbh
Whenever I hear Crossfire, that old board game comes to mind. Where kids play s post-apocalyptice game where the winner stays, and the loser gets sent to Balan Wonderland.
CROSSFIYA !
God I completely forgot this game existed it looks so generic
I'm just confused how remedy could make something so bad
It's worse than that
This game is so early 2010s, it's unbelievable.
early 2010 games are better though.
In regards to getting your *** kicked without using bullet time in f.e.a.r., it's actually a relatively fun / challenging run even on the highest difficulty. Haven't tried it on the expansions though, so I imagine the difficulty is a lot higher.
Not just related to just this video Gman, but the amount of Simpsons references you include in your videos makes me super happy. Thank you
I feel like it has to just be a contract deal or something, I just can't imagine the company who brought us Max Payne and Alan Wake could make something so soulless. Seems like they were just after a paycheck
I mean they need the money for Alan wake 2
Also hater
Glad we have a new awful game to meme on. Annoyed at those saying "Hopefully Remedy can redeem themselves after this."... Like, do you people seriously think one bad game, one that was clearly only done for the check, is reflective of a studio whose always made quality.... they made Max Payne, Alan Wake and Control ffs
Control is after Quantum Break and was a huge hit. They haven't been "reduced" to anything, this is side project. Still not great that it turned out crap but i doubt they had their top people on it who are busy with Alan Wake 2.
I think they had to take this work for hire when Quantum Break underperformed. Control was a comparatively low budget project that unexpectedly performed better than expected critically and commercially. I hoped Crossfire X would be more interesting, but Remedy really just fulfilled a set of contractual demands here it seems, and that's okay. Kept the lights on during a tough time.
Remedy gave us one last hurrah from the late 00s/early 10s military shooter trend and they have emulated it perfectly apart from lacking a piss filter to make everything look "realistic" and "gritty"
hopefully they'll patch it in.
That's what slow motion is for. Literal piss filter.
@@systemmonitor5295 mmm piss
I like that filter :(
My feeling is that Remedy has to follow a set of guidelines by the owner of Crossfire (Smilegate), thus needing to have a certain element and story, this would explain the weird narrative and unusual quality.
I also played the OG Crossfire, and it contains a lot of nonsensical stories and all, not to mention a shitton of pay-to-win content.
“Ok it sounds strange but the story needs to be really shit”
I love how that one sniper rifle still has underscores in it's hud name like the just copypasted the filename from the weapon model folder.
0:56 not only China, and South Korea Crossfire is also popular in most Southeast Asia Particulary in my country Indonesia which published by our local video game publisher, Lyto. The game franchise also favoured by many Indonesian gamers especially PC players on Internet Cafe (which in my language as "Warnet/Warung Internet") besides Point Blank (another CS clone), Counter Strike and Ragnarok Online RPG that you can enjoy with your own instant noodles. Like Point Blank the game also had a paywall but instead of in-game currency it used a real money. The suckiest part of this monetisation is that you can buy the same weapon but with different skin alongside good weapon status which falls to pay-to-win game. Also the story of the game itself is clearly non-existent as the game just only "Counter-Terrorist vs Terrorist" trope as it's story basis which is the reason why this game's story is a jumbled mess due to the said franchised itself doesn't have any coherent story whatsoever.
After looking up Microsoft decided to take the IP with Smilegate and marketed it to the western market that have little known to the said franchise and it's nature and decided to take Remedy to develop campaign under the IP's restrictions, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?! As told by my university teacher about game markets lecture "we must know your audiences in order to make your game have a purpose to be played with" and he said in detail about the game markets and audiences based on region besides gender and age which makes me buggled out as why this game which the franchised known for it's pay-to-win mechanic and it's chosen platform and audiences and Microsoft marketed it as "console exclusive" and not marketed it towards Asian audiences to begin with? (as Asians we know that we tolerate microtransactions and games-as-a-service method but not mostly)
There is a mistake - single player uses remedy own Northlight engine from their recent games, not UE4.
11:23-11:27 just really tickled me how bad that looks.

It's quite possible his gloves would've shredded, but he clearly didn't zip with bare hands, as stated.

"It's a spiritual successor to Hund Down the Freeman."
It *IS* painful that Remedy Entertainment was the developer of the campaign... I think the Northlight Engine *IS* beautiful in general (it even looks alright in Crossfire X), I just didn’t expect to hear their name mixed up in this here....
Few years back, I played Crossfire on my shitty old PC. It bums me out that the sequel turned out the way it did.
I feel like this game is basically an "improved" version of Hunt Down the Freeman but it's still just plain bad
Holy shit. A shame that guy isn't actually Elias Toufexis because there is no way he is being cast for any role Elias didn't already get.
I weirdly kind of like the art style... I think? It's this bizarre pseudo-realistic look that somehow appears simultaneously true to life _and_ cartoonish. It's like it takes the real world and then just smooths over everything with a clean rag. I hope more games follow this "obsessive use of disinfecting wipes" aesthetic.
Any chance of reviewing the Annihilation Line DLC for Terminator Resistance? I'm replaying the main game and would like to hear your thoughts on it.
I swear 11:53 parts like these are one of the reasons why I'm always looking forward to your videos.
IGN gave it a 3/10 , holy cow.
Wow, that's heartbreaking. From the footage it looks visually great, at least partly. It's clear that a lot of skill has gone into making some of the assets and models in the game, and some of the line work sounds good - but then other parts look completely half-assed.

They have never talked about this game like It's theirs or promoted it. It was a Paycheck from a big Asian company that they could put towards work on Alan Wake 2. Love the work Gman! Have you ever considered reviewing any of the Doom Total Conversion mods out there?
10:06 wow, you really weren't joking - for the first few lines I thought it was text-to-speech edited in for the lulz
Seeing that you had Tetris Effect Connected in the install queue makes me say, most people would be better off playing that than playing this trainwreck of a game.
I'm sad that Remedy worked on the Campaign for this as I was keen for it at first because of them but after playing the MP mode for a bit, I knew it wasn't worth it and seeing how the campaign turned out...This is really a paycheck game for them.
This was almost certainly Remedy on auto-pilot for a paycheck. This really is one of the games of all time. It doesn't help that Game Pass subscribers couldn't play for 3-4 days after the launch because of "pricing issues". The game still showed as needing to be paid for despite being included with Game Pass at launch.
Yeah all these comments saying they have lost faith in Remedy are funny. Remedy never promoted this game or really even talked about it. It's clear it was just a Paycheck so they can work on Alan Wake.
What's the game at 19:18? I see Gman references it all the time lately, but I can't figure out what game its actually from.
Doom 3.
Hey Gman, completely unrelated but, I know you too are a man of culture! To this end, I wanted to let you know that according to Steam, Scorn has an Oct 22 release window. Just a fyi. Looks like some game play trailers too on the Steam page.
I like how on a full reload, your character turns the rifle over to look at the bolt - this is something you do to visually identify if a rifle is empty, but it only makes sense when it's a weapon that locks open when it runs dry like an AR-15 or most pistols. The AK doesn't lock open, so that bolt is in the same position as it would be if it were loaded or not, so he's just looking at it for no fucking reason lol.
"lol bolt is still here, good"
Maybe it was one of the AK variants with a bolt hold open and he wanted to make sure it was fully closed before firing? Oh who am I kidding they just can't into guns.
@@Calvin_Coolage
You mean he could have been checking if it's out of battery? Sure, but that wouldn't indicate that he's dry.
Sorry for the necro, but I could've sworn the vast majority of AK mags after the stamped steel mags had bolt hold-opens? I'm certain at least the Yugo-produced mags had them
I used to play the original game on PC like 10 years ago.
Would've been pretty cool if they made a successor to that for PC and kept it fair without pay to win. But I guess that's never gonna happen. At this point I feel like they couldn't even deliver a proper modern PC game, I'm not even mad it's console exclusive even though that's kind of a shitty move for the successor of a PC game.
Here in the Philippines this was my favorite Online Multiplayer game. Good times playing with friends in a computer shop.

More and more games are guilty of this since years now. especially triple A titles. Everything needs to look more and more realistic but at the same time a lot of personality goes away.
Basically Medal of Honor 2010, remade in 2022. Except the multiplayer for MoH 2010 was actually good
Feels like a “made for Asia” type of game. Hence all the odd choices and gameplay. The gaming scene over there is like a parallel universe and quite unscrupulous.

Cyberpunk 2077 has very similar gunplay and graphics to this, except it’s actually a fun game with depth on top of it. Never thought I’d be using that game as a better comparison for another game.
1:36 "Spiritual Successor to Hunt Down the Freeman"
I mean at least HDTF was memorable, even if it was for the wrong reasons.
Haha it made me sad that I had to go into the game in order to download the campaign. I got the first campaign with game pass but the other one was paid.
Did you play it? I liked the campaign...
@@monkeybluez8137 I played it for a bit. It was generic but for some reason relaxing cause it felt like I went back to 2007. But the graphics were awesome. I fixed the horizontal sensitivity cause it's not the same as the vertical.
The whole game is a shitshow; single and multiplayer. Absolutely dreadful.
You need to check out Blood West. It's like Blood, and STALKER trying to be a souls game, but it is sooooo good and it just dropped on early access and the 12 plus hours I've put in it are already worth the $13 dollars I payed.
Hey GMAN DO your review strategy games or are you mainly focus on first person shooters
I'm bad at RTS games, so no.
@@Gggmanlives 👍👍
Pity the artist department, because the only effort that was put into the game were the visuals. Not masterpiece, but not bad either.
I don't care what anyone says, I will always like the generic tacticool military aesthetic. Especially when it's filtered through a dev team whose only knowledge of guns and tactical gear is Wikipedia and action movies. There's something charming about the way South Korean devs approach modern warfare FPS game art styles.
11:52 🤣🤣🤣
this game doesn't look THAT bad to me. even kinda fun if not generic. admittedly, i haven't played a military shooter in a long time
Don't do it dont buy it!
19:18 what game is this?
i have seen that goteem meme so many times over the years and used it many times myself, and only now have i realized he is holding the phone backwards
as a korean im just happy that a korean company tried to make a triple-A fps game
i just hope the next company that tries making an AAA fps makes something much better
Hey lads...... at least the female characters look good in this game. That is automatically a 7 out of 10 for me. After looking at modern horrible western female designs I have become that desperate
Spot on. This game is not "woke" enough... I actually enjoyed the campaign. Guess I have a different take.
11:58 is this the "Roccat" symbol on the building? Looks similar ^^
Hey gman since you reviewed this game which is based on mercenaries going to war you should review the army of two franchise pretty please
I heard a rumor that Xbox paid upwards of 10 billion $ for crossfire X to exist for some weird reason. I think the devs just took the money and ran away. Honestly can't blame if Xbox just throws away money like its nothing and then not caring about quality control 🙄
I feel this was just a paycheck for Remedy, they're currently working on the Alan Wake sequel so I think they probably were approached with this and took it just for the money; which by all means is disappointing but I don't think there's any way Remedy put 100% into this, they're too good a company for this to be a proper Remedy game.
Remedy probably just threw the D team at this just to give a bunch of new employees something to do
"Spiritual successor to Hunt Down The Freeman
Oh this is gonna be brutal.
How is the performance in game? Im seeing lots of dropped frames. And what console?
XSX.
@@Gggmanlives And how is the fps?
Seemed fine to me.
