Black bear cubs playing 2023

This is why I drive 2000 miles every spring and hiked 36 miles during my 4 day stay in the Smoky Mountains in May, 2023. There are few moments in life as natural, innocent and satisfying as watching newborn wildlife playing and enjoying their world as it was meant to be. It's a privilege and honor to observe the natural activity of black bears in the wild. I never take it for granted and am very grateful for the opportunities that I've had over the years.
