I went to a New Wave Italo Disco night a few weeks ago. The place was packed. They played this song and it was my first time hearing it. Everyone danced their ass off. I looked up the tune a week later and learned Ursula was inspired by Divine. How ICONIC!

Now, I cannot either: -Listen to any Divine track and not picture Ursula singing it, or -See Ursula in TLM and not expect her to start singing something from Divine, even though I know she will not. Well done Disney, well done. 😆 Anyway, I really enjoyed this video, it was really well made.

Divine never knew about this, because she died some time before the movie started filming. I think that Divine's manager even said that Divine would be honored and even wanted to voice the role.
