    Another exquisite winner! Love it and all of the tips and hints Brandy. 👍🏻❤️🎨
    Truth be known...whenever a piece goes sideways with a product issue, it then becomes a valuable learning experience on how far you can push a product/technique. All artists experience this at one point in time during the creative process. It’s what often evolves into some of the most beautiful designed pieces in the end! Kudos to you Brandy, may your creative spirit continue to grow and thrive! Thank you. 👍🏻❤️🎨J&B🏁🌊🐾

    Someone gave me a bedspread with almost same colours that you are using, me and my youngest daughter was standing and thinking about how to use these colours and flowers ( she was thinking about canvas and in my mind it was a piece of furniture 😄). Im so thrilled to see your tutorial. Now i know exactly what to do.
    And since its on youtube i can go back a thousand times and try to copy you. Probably I'll be able to achieve something similar. So thank you ❤️❤️🤗🤗

    Brandy, can I apply transfers over Dixie Belle Moonshine metallics? If yes can I add a clear coat and which one would you suggest. Thanks in advance for your help.

    • @BrushedbyBrandy
      @BrushedbyBrandy  4 года назад

      Yes, transfers do great over the metallics. I'd use satin or gloss clear coat to seal

    Brandy, do you have any customer care contact info for Hocus Pocus? After watching your introduction to Hocus Pocus transfers I ordered transfers and they showed shipped and delivered, but never arrived at my house. The customer care/contact email address on their confirmation of purchase email has yielded no response from their company after two attempts. I’m super frustrated! Any advice or info you can give would be greatly appreciated!!
    Thanks!
    Jessie

    Brandy, you mentioned in this video that you can apply a flat clear coat over Gator Hide if you want a flat finish, but that you will only get the protection of the clear coat you applied last. Could you please explain why someone would put Gator Hide on and then apply a flat or satin clear coat over it if you now only have the protection of the final finish?

    • @BrushedbyBrandy
      @BrushedbyBrandy  4 года назад

      Your finish underneath will have the protection of gator hide, but layer over top would not have as much resistance. Fine on a body, tops usually do better with heavier durability

      @LCRArt 4 года назад +1

      Brushed by Brandy that’s still a confusing answer to me. Either it’s got the protection of Gator hide or it’s got the protection of the last coat you put on it, which with a DB clear coat, it will be water resistant and not the water repellent protection of Gator Hide. If a piece is top coated with Gator hide and then covered with a clear coat, is the entire piece now water repellent or water resistant?

    • @myraantoniuk7934
      @myraantoniuk7934 4 года назад

      Lori Ritter my understanding of Brandy’s answer is that from the Gator hide down your piece will have a durable finish...the flat coat may wear off with use over time.

    • @LCRArt
      @LCRArt 4 года назад

      Myra Antoniuk but the top coat is what determines what the surface can withstand. Why cover the stronger top coat with one less durable?

    • @myraantoniuk7934
      @myraantoniuk7934 4 года назад +1

      @@LCRArt I am not sure that Brandy was suggesting that you necessarily should, simply that you could if your preference is for a flat coat finish ..I probably wouldn't, but some might.

      Veneer is a thin layer of real wood, it can definitely be painted. If it's laminate, be sure to use a good primer for adherence
