I live in Gardnerville Nv. I can’t get over how well Dixie bell paint is. I’m so inspired by you blending. That’s my biggest fear. Should I practice on a board to figure it out?

Instead of crock pot, I wonder if the old school hot tray would work? Also available at thrift stores. You might need an aloe plant! Cheaper than burn cream. LOL. You need to keep some “brandages” in your shop.

Yes! Grab a small piece of furniture or a cabinet door with realistic mouldings, best way to practice

What colors are you using? Can I lay Dixie Belle paint over top of Benjamin Moore Advance paint made for cabinets?
So long as your base isn't chipping or peeling and not oil based, should be able to use a water based paint over top

You can, but not for too long, they can burn
