J-Hope is without argument one of the best performers of the industry. He sadly has far too few lines in this song and yet he leaves a huge impression when you see it live. He has such good stage craft and understanding of how to perform to audiences of all sizes, making sure to include every single part of the audeince. He performs out to the furthest seats and makes everyone feel like he is performing just for them. He has an inherent joy when he performs that is palpable and infectious and he is able to convey so much emotions with his dance, his movements, his voice and his expressions. He is a joy to watch, a true artist.
You're right. My bias is Taetae and I also agree ith what you said. Jhope literally is the core of the stage presence of bts. The way he radiates positive energy and motivates others is appreciable. Jhope indeed is the main dancer, his moves and how he uses his cheerful personality to deliver the best performance everytime is admirable.

I think that's why it was picked as the opening solo- to get the audience hyped for the rest of the songs. It's definitely a performance that needs to be experienced in person at a concert; watching it through a screen is not the same.
