hey bro I just brought a 16ft box truck.i really enjoy your content
like you said in an earlier video, they don't pay well
People keep asking so I did the video. They can get as much out of it as they can.
@@markthementor Idk. Only way you're getting 100k out of them is by doing probably a half a mil in work
@@TheJourneyofAll I made $100k with them. But at the time I was their biggest contractor here in this market. On average I was running 2-4 vehicles a day for Select. I also negotiated my rates. Which is why after a while we parted ways. By me running a company the rates that they were offering couldn’t even cover the labor so they paid me negotiated rates. After they got enough contractors to cover the market they phased me out. Until they needed me again. 😂 I dealt with the National director personally everyday he would call me and say “Mark how much is it gonna take to get this done?” But this is a big market so I know they had to bite the bullet to get shit done here.
What if you do want to drive and use the load boards? Or have a driver on call
I wondered about the earning potential of a 16ft truck. I thought for a second you was gonna say if you got a 16ft you bs'ing with yourself.
LOL! There is still good earning potential with a 16Ft truck but in a specific niche. If a guy is working his 16Ft truck or sprinter van himself there is good money to be made but it will require a lot of hands on work like assembly. Final mile dealing with fitness equipment, patio furniture you can check a bag if your mechanically inclined because you can get paid for delivery and assembly, so full white glove service.
@@chloeconniecarlton328 good question
@@chloeconniecarlton328 👀
What are they insurance requirements?? Can you operate the sprinter/ 16ft box with regular insurance or does it has to be 100/300k -50k ?
Hello. You’ll need commercial insurance. In most cases $1M GL, $1M commercial auto and $100k cargo. May vary slight depending on 3PL requirements.
Just got to this video and you just told me about Select Express. Out of those 4 things @2:31 can we pick one or do we have to do all 4? I don't mind courier or Home Delivery but setting stuff up I don't know really know how to do all that? Would that matter? I mean if I had to learn how to do it I'd probably do it though.
You make more money with assemblies. They have some non assembly accounts but you earn less.
@@markthementor Ok gotcha. I just don't want mess people's stuff up. I'd probably have to hire a person that's good with all of that. Can you give me an example of how much 1 delivery and assembly could be? Maybe an average....
@@beezytalkingshit9319 $50 or so depending on account.
@@markthementor $50 for delivering and it assembling it? They must pay by the hour or something.
@@beezytalkingshit9319 Naw. They just don’t pay much. You gotta figure they taking half the money off the top.
With Select Express you will need to Assemble a lot of equipment. 90 percent of their deliveries are white glove. Make sure you got your tools ready!!
You are 100% correct!
Are these trucks dock height?
For this account the trucks do not need to be dock height.
@@markthementor ok thank you.
How about making money with cargo van ?
You can make money with Select with a cargo van. They have the Peloton account which is great for a cargo van. Also check out this video I did. Plenty of cargo van runs. Box Truck Maintenance Video Turns Into Me Picking Up A Fridge From Lowes In A New Pair Of Jordan 4's
