I WANT TO DRIVE THIS TO CLIENT MEETINGS, AND THE OFFICE! I work with very high end clients’ projects who (for a majority of them) look down their noses at the working class man. If it’s not a perfect Bentley, RR, BMW, Mercedes, etc and your shoes aren’t right, and your meals aren’t $500, and fast food is Starbucks; ones who think their money means they can say and do anything, that they are above you. I would “accidentally” leave the exhaust uncorked at times, too. To shake the office windows every time I leave for lunch… oh the dreams.
I love the content, I love chasing dreams and such. But I also like continuity. There are so many projects going on, that there is little or no cohesion. It does not hurt if a project is filmed and worked on "off camera", if it is uploaded later and in a more complete state.
Awesome, and don't worry, 'it's just seats' as you've done them and we got to see the cool trailer and boat setup, too. If you've watched BOM's Binky build we get to see how long some of these jobs really can take, but you can't rush quality and doing it right. Be great to see the body coming off.
My only good idea I will probably have today? Take one or two tires of the trailer when moving it around. If it works, is it a bad idea? Thanks for the smiles and motivation over the years.
I absolutely love that you are making, and giving away, a gasser wagon! That is awesome. And heck, even if I don't win the car, but I get one of those sweet wiring kits, I will be a happy camper. I got my sticker packs a couple days ago, now I have to put another sticker or two on my truck.
No to the gasser look, new chassis..yes, engine..yes, brakes..yes, axle..yes, no bomber seats, fix rust in floor/ rockers and drive it. Cool 57 Chevy wagon...
7:01 If you were to air down the four front tires and maybe put like, 80 p.s.i. in the rear ones, that could save the day for those without cradles/wheel dollies.
Mike, as far as I'm concerned, you guys can remove the back seat too. easier to install the 7 point cage. Because that's what I want in my new gasser. Thanks. Appreciated.
Dan from DD Speed Shop is the Canadian hot rod Jesus as he's known. All he does is revive old tri 5s. I bet that wagon has a lot more rust than just that floor.
You might want to invest in a older lawn and garden type tractor, I have a old Cub cadet with the cast iron axle housing with a real differential and a actual drive shaft, the hydrostatic trans deal lets you just barely start out at a crawl to get something heavy moving and slowly increase the speed as you get it rolling, its got to be a early to mid seventies little lawn garden tractor, I use it to jockey trailers around and pull cars and it's got a plow on front that I rigged up a way to hang a 13inch tire on to push cars also, the things a little tank, i put on a set of old style tractor V tread tires on it, made wheel weights out of some old steel exercise weights, put a led running light on the front and back, i painted it all up with some old Rust-Oleum, i got barely $500 in the whole thing, its got a old single cylinder 12hp cast iron Kohler motor , the thing comes in so handy, those old lawn tractor like that are cheap most the time, , the only thing i bought new was the back tires, and the 2 led running lights, well worth it for the effort it saves
Love the new lifts in the shed. BUTTTTTT this still isnt the drag week doco. Every Sunday night, i sit here waiting with my Kangaroos and Emus.. NOTHING........Love you
That beginning brought back a memory of a time years ago when I bought a set of unbreakable lifetime guarantee drill bit set, I remember thinking how is this possible especially because they were cheap, I bent the first 2 to a 45 degree angle just like the one fin had at the start, then the 3rd one I almost got the whole drilled the bit bound up and it turned the twist right out of the bit, I'm thinking I went thru 5 bits trying to drill one hole, yea I got my money back
A Good and a blessed Sunday morning to everyone 🌞✝️ Thanks for wrenching 🛠️🔧🏁🇺🇸 And please everyone let Jesus Christ into your heart and life for he will guide through it all ✝️🙏💪
You realize you could’ve bought a full color matched interior kit that comes with door cards, headliner, new seat covers for like 2 grand. Odds are you could’ve gotten it sponsored
Not holding my breath on the Corvette, I recall a driver fitment issue mentioned, so that Lexus was acquired in it's place. Everyone wants to see the Caddy at the next Drag Week event, so it should be next to get finished up.
Just wanna say it's odd that a company named wire care carries so little actual wire on their site, and the stuff they do carry is astronomically expensive. Ain't no way I'm paying $7/ft for 14 guage hookup wire.

Even with the cars in the garage… the most expensive thing is that shelf of Kroil
You're exaggerating, but not by much
If I win I want all the original parts to go with the car ! Only takes a day to re upholster a bench seat . Including blasting the frame .
Good morning Finn, morning all my fellow gearheads.... Good coffee and good times! Let um roll... 🤙
I need to see a drag between this an freiburger's beater camaro give away before you guys give them away 😂
The 57 would win.
The Camaro is an inline 6
@@Zaaf2003that’s the point…….
get the bench seat done! this thing needs a bench!
Good Sunday morning, hot coffee, and Finn's new build
"The Springs Hooked Me in the Taint" quite possibly need lyrics cuz that's a song title for sure.
Pete Harrell is "Real Good at Doing Stuff"

It's rough when you have to leave the shop to go home in order to have the tools you need.
That seat bracket lends itself to a center console
33:40 wanted to say he was schilling for Miller at first but that sounded like a damn fine sizzle on the weld. Nice welder

It wouldn’t surprise me if Cleetus tries to sell the limo to Mike
I can't wait to see this car half finished...
Look ! The caddy 6 years and counting
TBH, If I would get my hands on such a car I would restore it for sure, I Love the 57 Chevy's
This will be an awesome build! Who doesn't love a 57 chevy?!

Put that Sonny’s motor in a short box pickup and show Freiburger what a real muscle truck is.
Save Newbern everything you take off. He's a Tri 5 hoarder! lol
Sundays always start better with Finnegan’s Garage!!! Love the approach to the ‘57 Gasser Wagon! Gonna be bitchin!!!
I am building a 57 Dodge town wagon. I was going Gasser. But I used what I had C4 vette front section 4link coilover rear. Turbo LS 4l80. Happy trails
Mike, there is a neutral lever on the left side of that winch to unlock the drum to cable out faster. Save your battery.
Just remember I'm 6'5", so when I win this car the measurements will be good! 👍🏽😊
This is exactly what my wife wants to get ice cream in! Real cruiser.
Mike, you show contact the tri 5 guru at DD speed shop

I have a wagon too, NOTHING beats the extra room for parts storage

Sweet. The work finally begins
Thats going to look good in my shop!
I intend on wining this. Im 6'6 please make sure i can fit in my future car! Thanks
As a person who does rust repair as a living, most likely that hole in the floor was a rats nest. Can’t wait to see how this thing comes along.
Maybe a lawnmower for moving stuff around the warehouse. We used to use a kubota g4200 to move a 3000lb Jayco pop-up around.
It needs a big block for sure
Just got me a shirt and some stickers!! Just send me the car now. 😂
Mike please get some big boy friendly 4xl merch
Even if all it is is pre order so you don’t have to stock extra just for us overweight bastards.

Mike says, rust is lighter than carbon fiber. I have the t-shirt to prove it. Ha!
Dd speed shop. Dd speed shop
As someone who owns a 2nd gen CRX with a hitch, I can confirm it will definitely tow a boat much longer than the car.
Would be nice to see POR15 on the entire floor after the repairs are done. ❤
Yep..gotta enter..dream car lots of storage for tools and a road trip! Best day ever.

Sad to see roadkill and motor trend go but glad theres so many people I've subbed to come from there.
Are they finished?
"The springs poked me in the taint, it wasn't cooled" I lost it lmao
Big improvement. Thanks guys.
Such a Odd Place For It To Rust
looking good ! Only a 283 ???
I just figured he was going to either build an engine or get a crate engine. Not leave the original 283
Your shop is looking like Shaun Ellingtons shop , stuff everywhere lol
Man 2nd place sounds pretty sweet for somebody that's tryin to finish a car.
But doesn't wanna shell out 15grand to get it done. .....wink wink
Good luck on the giveaway I wish it wasn't so hard with the stupid lawyers to involve your lovely neighbors in the north 🇨🇦
Mike we want to see a mini truck build in the future 😜😎🤟but I love wagons also
I got a nice little 301 with a tunnel ram that’s going in it when it gets home to New Hampshire
I’m surprised that neither of you just said that seatbelts weren’t mandatory in’57!
I heard Steve Morris loves working on those Sonnys hemi’s.
Love the ash tray in the back of the front seat for the "back seat smokers" wonder what they smoked lol
jakeblack4095 Camel's No filter.
You need a powerpusher for the garage to move the boats and push dead cars.
I came here to say “use the pump jacks” and right as I was typing the comment you did 😂 7:55

Awesome 57 I would love to drive her
Yea but that's hotroding and here we are. It seems like every project I do on my old truck. Also why when I get done I feel pretty accomplished
This is a awesome build thanks guys
I'm surprised you don't have an electric trailer dolly to help move everything around

Get an old lawn-tractor for moving cars around in your shop.
Build something that looks nice for once!
For once? He’s got several nice projects. Boats, cars and tow rigs.
When are you gonna complete the 61 Caddy???? It's on on the lift above the wagon.
You realize you could’ve bought a full color matched interior kit that comes with door cards, headliner, new seat covers for like 2 grand. Odds are you could’ve gotten it sponsored
can we get this guy some drill bits?
Are we gonna see the split window corvette drag car at some point? just curious. Am loving the videos and cant wait to see the 2024 drag week movie

Dude, there was something under that seat. How did the highest point on the floor rust? I'd say a blanket or something like that.
Can you make a bomber style center console for when I win it? I need somewhere to keep my monster safe when banging gears. 😂
Ya need a lug bug to move stuff around the shop
Hey Mike I call dibs alright! Cool see ya later
Great content thanks for sharing
Ok I guess it’s time to buy some swag!!
be nice to win one for a change love the vids keep up the good work
30:30 im confused your installing buckets? Why do you need to go across
wish to see that cady finished up any more videos soon?
Thanks for the vid
If I win the first thing I’ll do is take those seats out😂
I've been waiting to see what you're doing with this p.o.s
I bet at one time some kid that always sat in that spot would always piss their pants
Forget the car, can you give away the chop saw?
maxburke2279 Exactly. That thing is just what I need.
Giveaways are out of control
Every single big RUclipsr has a giveaway going currently.....
Don’t you think instead of working
On another project you should work on the Cadillac
I bought too many cars in the last few months and now my shop is full, where am I going to put this?
Did they make a 2 door wagon or just in the Nomad ?
Another good one 👍👍
Somebody call DD Speedshop lol
DD speedshop tri 5 treatment
I’m just here for the comments bitching about the Caddy 😂
Morning!
I think making it a Gasser is going to hurt your entries
JUST GET THE CADDY DONE
He will do when all the parts for it are ready. Not everything is in his hands.
@@ErewhonGB It’s been 4 years guy, they building and shipping the parts from Mars.
Get a job
Never happen..
You saw it was in long term storage
@@fredmertz1791 It's sitting in the unit waiting for the engine to be built. I wouldn't call that long term storage.
