Hidden away in the remote desert of Southern California lies a place unlike any other - East Jesus. This experimental, sustainable art installation is the vision of the Chasterus Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Established in 2007 by the late Charlie Russell, East Jesus is a constantly evolving canvas for artists, inventors, and visionaries from all walks of life. After Russell's passing in 2011, a board of directors has continued his mission of creating a safe, sustainable haven for creativity and innovation.
