Star is VERY clever! If Shigaraki keeps New Order, he will lose Quirk stock and damge. But if give New Order to one of pilots, he will be second Star and Stripe. And if she made a rule that New Order 'unilaterally destroy' other Quirks, Shigaraki will get New Order instead of losing an AFO and damaged. If she made a rule that New Order will be 'self-destruct', Shigaraki will not be harmed. In that short time, she came up with the only way; 'oppose' which harmed to shigaraki and prevent him from using New Order.
To this day, Star and Strips still gets a ton of crap for how Horikoshi introduced her character and then killed her off immediately after so he could hype up Shikaraki as the Main Final Villain (Which I feel like every manga SHOULD hype up their Main Villain) Personally, I’m not usually THAT much of a complainer, but I AM a little disappointed that we couldn’t get more of her character.
A few things, opening is "for someone's sake" by TK, and the ending is "flower bud" by Omoinotake, also, Star appeared at the first part of the two heroes movie, that's what her first flashback is from, and was the number 1 hero of the US, one of the strongest heroes in the world
Only 1 reaction I watched besides me realized that the girl he saved was from the two heroes movie. This coming full circle and her line while decaying "because you saved me.. I was able to lose myself.. In a wonderful dream".. fucking destroyed me. amazing writing.

It's basically the same as Mirio tho before he got his powers back. He was barely around before he lost it all
