Idk if you guys missed it, but Dabi developed his mom's ice quirk on the verge of death, which means he had both quirks all along, so if Endeavor had just paid more attention and worked with Dabi instead of tossing him aside, the whole thing could've been avoided. But that's hindsight 20/20 I guess
well yeah if only endeavor had just paid more attention trying to kill him it would have manifested early. . . . . . . I know what you mean but the quirk activation is induced by death its not an awakening although i agree he should have paid more attention and its his fault things turned out like this for todoroki family.
@@sharadsingh1330 Well, obviously in this particular case Rei's quirk activated because of the near-death state. But Endeavor didn't say that both were mutually exclusive. Is it 100% confirmed that Toya wouldn't have been able to 'awaken' the quirk had his life gone differently and Endeavor was a good father? He couldn't have developed it through 'heroic' character development, like fighting desperately against villains? Pretty sure Endeavor's "oh shit, it's all my responsibility" moment, right after seeing Rei's quirk manifest in Toya, was because he realized, if I had just paid more attention to him, he wouldn't have had to awaken his mother's quirk by being near death, but he could've awakened it normally".

Beforehand, Shoto was called the “hero of the family,” and after this, yeah, he absolutely is. Not that he wasn’t before. And honestly, for as horrific of a person as Touya has become, I think it’s only right for him to be saved by the family and make sure he doesn’t game end himself. It was great timing too since Endeavor had just given up on Touya again. The emotions were complicated as heck this time around, but I’m hoping that Touya can finally find some level of peace.
- I love how we got the iida and todoroki team up similar to the sports festival with the headbands. -endeavor spent all that time trying to get a child with the perfect quirk and his first was secretly ended up being the perfect child the whole time since he had the potential and unlocked ice
Toya unlocking an ice quirk on the verge of death is a very haunting idea. It shows Endeavor that he could have gotten everything he wanted from his first child. But, he had to risk that child’s life in order to achieve his dream. He had a choice. He could either have his son or his dream. Not both. Shows the extent of Endeavor’s failures with his family. It took all of them together to stop Toya. Not even Shoto’s Great Glacial Aegir was enough to stop Toya alone. It took all of the Todoroki clan coming together to neutralize all of that heat and save all of those people. The Masegaki kids were right to put their trust into Five Wee Wees 😁 Also Iida achieving transonic speed equivalent to a fighter jet was amazing. He needed Shoto to constantly produce ice to reduce resistance then needed Shoto to create a layer of air with his heat to reduce friction in order to achieve that speed, but the feat is nonetheless impressive. Love the quirk combos 🤩
Yeah but Shouto's move is the one that finally shut it down for good which is why I give him so much credit. The family by themselves were frying and not able to completely stop it on their own. The whole heat ball was frozen by Shouto's move. Also I think this had to happen because Shouto wouldn't even be born if Touya just was able to use both quirks. But most seem to not realize that his quirk is not like Shouto and his body still isn't suited for his quirk since he was born with such high fire power. The one thing I agree on with Endeavor is him stopping the training because it was hurting Touya's body. This ice stuff only happened because his body was shutting down, it couldn't he achieved normally because it's not a awakening. It's hysterical strength.
@@TheYoungGeninSasuke Shoto may have done the lion share of stopping the explosion with his Phosphor, but Shoto says it himself that Toya raised the firepower higher than their fight. He couldn’t have done it by himself. He had to have the whole family there or people still would have died.
