I made a test version of this this actually takes good skills to make. For instance, cutting crisp straight lines is harder than it looks. Also, you have to place the shelves right otherwise the sides won't fit. In my test version I didn't use duct tape and now I see the reason why use duct tape because it makes the foam more sturdy and heavy duty. Tomorrow I'm going out and buying foam poster board again . I'm going to make this as best as I can!! Thanks for posting the video!

I'd like to know how the shelves held up because hot glue and duct tape doesn't seem enough to hold the weight of the bottles. If it did this is genius!
I'd like to make a rack that holds multiple layers of lip balm...they will be displayed, label side up, in a shallow drawer... what would you recommend on how to create something like that?
It's held up ok. I still use it, but some of the tape is peeling away from the bare foam edges, everything else is good, and it still holding together. Sorry for the late reply, btw.
Hey there! I didn't hang mine, I set it on top of my clothes dresser leaning up against the wall. If you have someplace where you can do that as well, it would probably be best. I'm sure there are ways you can attach this to a wall, but I have never tested any of them myself, so I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending them not knowing if it would be secure. I have used it to attach picture hangers to the back of lighter items to hang on the wall and they work perfectly, but this would hold a lot of nail polish and be quite heavy, so I wouldn't trust it for something like this; who wants that many nail polish bottles to come crashing to the floor suddenly? He he!

Yes, the duct tape makes everything sturdy and covers up all the ugly hot glue too! Hope it worked out for ya!

Do you need to use foam board or could you use something like cardboard as in the uk we don't have stores that sell foam board :/
You can use cardboard if you have to, but just keep in mind that it won't be as durable and won't be as sturdy as the foam board.
Hobbycraft sell foam board here in the UK! :-)

Wished I seen this video before I used the other video. I like this one so much better. We used 5 inch gaps between the shelves

I did not, it leans against the wall sitting on top of my chest of drawers.
