That's a beautiful rifle! I picked up Aero's FDE M5 matched set, and I'm piecing it together with all V-Seven lower parts. I've yet to pick a BCG, buffer, and optics, but it'll get matched with a 16' Ballistics Advantage barrel, Smoke Composites A5 carbon fiber buffer tube, and Smoke CF hand guard.
Just about done with my M5, I’ve got a Zulu stock, 20” SS Ballistic Advantage, Geissele trigger and AP upper, lower and BCG. AP handguard w M-Lock. Haven’t identified any glass or rings/platform.
Nice rifle; I am putting together a sniper one, not a battle rifle but I am having tons of issues with parts quality, AP sucks now they have gone down the drain. The issues I am having are completely unacceptable, an M5 regular lower that wont accept an M5 upper, then got an M5E1 upper that then wont accept the gas tube, even AP one, had to sand down the tube circumference to get it in then it was too short, having to do the same with a different manufacturer then when trying to work on the lower first thing install the mag release; the lancer magazine just slides in (feels kind of loose) but the mag catch wont catch shit unless forced up, then it wont drop. I have read of folks breaking the barrel nut while torquing, I carefully did mine at 65 ft/p but I am done with this piece of shit company and Monday I will be emailing their support and I am sure they will want me to send the lower for warranty; I already have a warranty opened on the M5 upper waiting for what they want me to do; I regret I went with then; have never used them before and never will ever again.
