If you take the finger slides out and put some of those $1 magnets from HF behind the drawer it will keep them shut. I did the same technique on the 5 drawer tool cart. I doubled up the magnets and staked them on the inside of the box. Worked great.
Love your setup Joel that Series 3 is simply amazing I would love something like this but I just don't have the space for one half the size😅I nearly cried when I saw your Fuji spray gun in your junk draw😢surely it can't be that bad I have 2 of them and they are superb guns👌 Some useless info for you I now have a Porphis WP99 1.4 side cup gun on loan to try and it lays the clear really well and I've got the Meiji Finer Core 1.3CR on loan and that is one seriously good gun👌🙏👍John UK
awesome setup you have their, did you say joel10? for the eastwood code? great video just stumbled onto channel maybe two weeks ago, just second video i have watched, very informative and entertaining, cheers
One thing true DIYers know is that you can't have too much storage space. After twenty years, my two-car garage only has space for a tiny compact car. I don't see your workshop as being messy or even junky. But a place where things get done.
If Harbor Freight was making these boxes 10 years ago, I would’ve bought one instead of Snap On tbh. Those US General service carts are comparable with the snap on ones and 1/3 of the price. The series 3 and ICON roll cabs probably only come second to the EPIQ series. But better to save money on the box and spend it on tools
That's pretty much where I'm at with it. I love quality tools but there is a limit to which I'll spend when the cheaper option works the same. I'm real glad I never jumped into a real expensive box. For me it would have been super unnecessary.
I hear ya! I just couldn't ever bring myself to spending that kind of money! I def have some expensive tools but the box doesn't need to be super fancy.
It is really unfortunate the slide latch system for the drawers is so awful. Its technically v2 of the system, and although v1 was more annoying to use because it was only on one side, it worked miles better than the current version. They should have went with soft close or grip latch for sure.
It depends man. It can be hard to find these days. A lot of people that start in the industry think they're going to make a ton of money before they really know what they're doing. A lot of them end up leaving the industry because they don't put the time in. If you come into it willing to learn and understand it's going to be tough for a little bit it pays off in the end.
@@nickcrill7718 if you’re willing to learn and show the initiative you will find a place willing to train you. I went to college and still went out of college making 15.50 an hour for a few years to get where I need to be. You can easily make 6 figures later down the road if you’re proficient stay with it and enjoy it. The industry is hurting and needs people willing to learn

I would be very interested in a video on flex additive clear coats. I just started as a painter and have a lot of issues with running them
Excellent. If you want taller, just get the spacers to go between the castors and the roll cab and just raise it up.
nice set up...
I need my vehicle painted...

makes me want to get rid of my snappy for one
Hey oil I'm starting painting in missoula and was wondering if u could test out the iwata series 2 ls 400 before I buy
Hey I’m a little taller also and hit my head on the lid of my box, slide 2 2x4s under the wheels to make it taller. It is way better.
I wish they would have had boxes like this when I started 13 yrs ago. It sucks to add on to truck boxes.

I like it, I didn’t when I tryed it in the store was planning on taking them out, but after a few days it just kinda grew on me
So you said you had a good mentor and didn’t go to school. Is that easy to find?

@@olie_olie_paintz I imagine it doesn’t start to pay off until 5 years plus into it.
I went to college for this. I will recommend not doing so. If you have a Gerber collision near you go talk to them, they offer an apprentice program
@@SARKAZYMYT nah I don’t have a that shop around me but I’m planning on moving out of my small town
