A bit of drift by Beppe Volta and the ECV1 during a photoshooting at the Turin Aero Club.
This airfield was the "Abarth Playground", being only a couple of km away from historic Turin Corso Marche headquarter, and it is the among the oldest and full of heritage italian airport, built in 1916.
ECV1 comes back to this historic tarmac, where 24 years ago made only a couple of straight.

It's such a shame that there's no showreel footage of this car running. There's a brilliant rally channel on YT with some amazingly shot Tour de Course footage and I would kill to see something using this car shot in a similar fashion.

pop off valve for the turbo
Turbo flutter. There's a more technical term for it, but I can't remember at the moment. And, if I make any errors, please tell me. My memory might be a bit rusty. Anywho, on with the explanation. Under hard acceleration, the turbos are building up too much boost for the throttle body to take at one time, so the excess boost is going back through the compressors and out through the intake. However, when the driver lets his foot off the gas pedal, the throttle body slams shut and that compressed air has to go somewhere, right? That's what the blowoff valves are for. However, the BOVs are not big enough to release all of that compressed air, so the air exits, again, through the compressors and out through the intake. The "fluttering" sound is from the air kind of bouncing off the fans of the impeller, if I remember correctly.

@deltabiancoperla e poi nemmeno immagini che erogazione abbia il motore triflux.. non è un normale turbo.. intendevano arrivare a 1000cavalli con questo motore, scaricati a circa 9000 giri... è un motore turbo che gira come un formula uno anni 90
