This song really hits home this week. Lost a friend who was not only my friend but my jr. high teacher and then my second momma passed just on April 30th. My best friend is having the hardest time and just suffered a bunch. He has made a bunch of wrong decisions in life but his momma held him together. Slumerican fam keep him in your prayers. He came out and rode with us and we bought him some beer and 1/5 of Creek Water. I told him to be careful with it but he hit it too hard on an empty stomach. Held it down but he was not functional till we got him to finally eat. Like I said just be in prayer for him because he has a long road ahead. I told him he is a ghetto cowboy because he can come back and show all the motherfuckers he has still got it.
I remember when me and my homies did a video shoot and Shawty Fatts brother Jerome showed up and showed alot of love for us even though he had no idea who we was. Fatt comes from a real genuine family and the whole city loved him. RIP.

Yelawolf has been a constant part of my life music wise for 15 years. His music has gotten me thru alot ultimately a divorce and homelessness. I always thought talent wise he is a genius. Songs where he sings Daylight, American You and this masterpiece just make me appreciate him more. If you walked up on him in RL had no idea who he was you would think damn that's alot of ink and maybe judge the book by its cover. We can't do that how many others like him might get dismissed because they don't fit in the mold society tries to package and sell us as. This song just made me smile about the good and gains. It made me cry for my losses sand pains. Thank you Yelawolf for keeping not only keeping me grounded but human.
