Perfect daily driver builds. CBI changed the foot bracket on the top rack and they no longer sit flush. Top rack sits almost an inch below the cab rack. Massive bummer.

I have something similar my front rack is a Cali raised and my leer cap will have the Prinsu
Put some Loc-Tite Blue 242 on those nuts. Will prevent them from walking back out in the middle of a trail on you. But you can still get them out with hand tools whenever you want.
Looks so dam good. Got and ARE shell on my tundra so I ordered both topper rack and cab rack. Cant wait to get mine and install them.

The Prinsu roof rack looks great along with the light bar. I have a 2011 Tacoma silver just like this one & I hope to get done in a couple weeks. The only difference was I was thinking about using Snugtop for the cap instead of Leer.
1JZ 4 Life yeah I really like the look of the racks and the shell. But snug top is really good as well. I never had one but I like em too.
What model is good for roof top tent? How much weight can the canopy/rack hold??. Hopefully 2 people right?

CVR IV no they are factory, they are just under little factory strips that peel off.
If only everything we install could happens magically without having to line stuff up and move things around.
I'm real tight for truck height in my garage- does anyone know the exact measurement from the top of the canopy to the top of the rack? I only have about 4 inches to spare...

Chetha ry no you do not absolutely have to put the weather strip back in but I like to because I think it looks better. 👍

best way is to cut holes for the risers and not cut the strip

Which model Prinsu rack goes on the Leer capper? I have my cap getting installed on my ‘19 TRD Offroad tomorrow, and it has the tracks embedded in it for a rack!
Peter Hopewell it’s called the top rack. It is the only one that does not have the wind deflection on it and it’s completely flat because it sits on top of the cap. You are going to absolutely love it.

So the video doesn't show if you had to drill the holes under the weather strip ? Or if they are pre done from the factory skipped that beat Hmmm?

You don't have to drill any holes. Holes are embedded in tacoma roof below plastic strips from factory.
Does it whistle or make any noise when traveling at a high speed?
Lorenzo Coria yes it did in the beginning. But that was because I did not buy the weather strip. I recommend the weather strip because now that it’s on there. There is no noise
You still get noise, but its not near as Bad with the wind strip..
Or how much weight they can hold ?
I would put only around 150-200 lbs on there. Without seeing too much of a driving difference.
