Anything that happened before Naruto and Sasuke dying and meeting Hagoromo is irrelevant. They were rejuvenated once they got their new powers. And Naruto's used up half of Kurama was also swapped out for Minato's barely used half of Kurama.

I have to say, going back and watching the war and Naruto v Sasuke......it really amazes me how weak the Boruto enemies are that still manage to get the jump on these two. Ideas for the peace after the 4th war . Naruto got his from nagato ( another uzumaki ) and sasuke got his from itachi ( another uchiha ) . Because of seeing itachi reanimated and the chance of talking , sasuke finally understood itachi's pain ( pain's ideology ) . He believed that the shinobi world shouldn't be trusted . He wanted to make himself the sole enemy of the world and unit them . He should just kill the 5 kage for that . But if he wants to be in darkness , he should not have any weaknesses . His weakness was his only friend , naruto . And if he wanted the world to come together against him completely , he should've destroyed the pillars of the power in the world . The 9 tailed beasts . So he better deal with naruto , before waking anybody up ... . Naruto believed that after the war and experiencing this pain and hardship together ( as was pointed by onoki) , the world can given a second chance of peace and they can live together in peace .( as jiraya always believed ) . The fight perfectly showed all these . ( the hands behind naruto's rasengan , itachi behind sasuke's chidori , showing the previous and younger selves of naruto and sasuke and their intense fight with just their hands after nearly getting dried out of their powers and ..... ) . Do you know why naruto got defeated in their previous battle here ?? Why naruto won sasuke this time ? Because of Nagato . The moment naruto understood the pain of losing someone dear ( jiraya ) and the moment he understood and forgave nagato , naruto won against sasuke . He understood sasuke's pain . That's why unlike ashura or hashirama , he truly won against sasuke and ended this bloody fight of brothers . He defied this destiny of hatred ( as he said to neji , in their fight in the chunin exams . He changed his destiny ) and finally , do you know why sasuke said he lost ? Why sasuke unlike the previous time , lost against naruto ? By seeing naruto's memories . And hearing itachi's words to naruto . When he saw the life and the pain naruto went through , he saw that naruto went through tons of things , things that he himself might not survived . Just as pain said , in the end , naruto and sasuke , by understanding each other's pain and just as hashirama said , by showing each others guts and true feelings , they got their peace . ( and even later sasuke said that this thing can be done for not only him and naruto but for others as well )

wow, the western audience really hates the concept of Sasuke which is a testament to how good of a character Kishimoto made Sasuke ought to be. This series is successful because of Sasuke coz the characters like him are the most difficult to write and portray and Kishi pulled off like a champ

People who have never waited for the eps that came out once a week will never know how long we have waited for this fight to happen. The hype it generated. The parts where when they where changing from kid naruto to teen naruto and kid sasuke to teen sasuke have always reminded me that I have come a long way. The series have come along way. They may not be the strongest character compared to other anime characters but their names will always come out of people’s mouths no matter if they have watched anime or not.

Bruh people gotta remember that this fight right here, is literally a fight between two of the strongest beings in existence. Like...they're essentially Gods here compared to every other shinobi and they just proved their force by taking out the progentior of chakra, the being who is the reason for shinobis having "power" at all. Even in Boruto, Naruto and Sasuke are unrivaled by anyone except each other. And tbh, with Naruto having small amounts of chakra from each tailed beast inside him (so he could act as a beacon for them), paired with his kyuubi/sage mode cloak, he'd probably beat Sasuke in the end. Literal Gods.

wow, the western audience really hates the concept of Sasuke which is a testament to how good of a character Kishimoto made Sasuke ought to be. This series is successful because of Sasuke coz the characters like him are the most difficult to write and portray and Kishi pulled off like a champ
The west doesn't like emo "woe is me" characters. Naruto comes off as more appealing to us because he portrays a lot of our heroes.

Bruh people gotta remember that this fight right here, is literally a fight between two of the strongest beings in existence. Like...they're essentially Gods here compared to every other shinobi and they just proved their force by taking out the progentior of chakra, the being who is the reason for shinobis having "power" at all. Even in Boruto, Naruto and Sasuke are unrivaled by anyone except each other. And tbh, with Naruto having small amounts of chakra from each tailed beast inside him (so he could act as a beacon for them), paired with his kyuubi/sage mode cloak, he'd probably beat Sasuke in the end.
