That’s how it’s done bro! 😄🙌🏽🔥
Gorgeous, the model is super beautiful and love the pics. Great work, i stayed all clip enjoying this beauty and you making her a goddess 🤩 great work mate!
One of my favorite models to work with.
Indeed she's a beast
Great video. Fantastic images
Another fun thing to try with natural light (on a bright day) is using Aperture Priority - which puts your shutter speed on auto and adjusts it faster than you can while moving in and out of varying light conditions. It amazes me that more natty shooters don't use this technique, as it would be an advantage to them as far as speed to adjust exposure vs manual. Good comprehensive explanation , and loved that pink coat and the model was FIRE.🙌
Yes Aperture priority is not bad if you want your camera to adjust for you. it becomes a little hesitant due to the amount of light you are using to light your subject so natty photos, feel its better to keep it manual that way you can dial in your shutter exactly how you want , depending of the exposure to light
@@BrandonColePhotography Each to their own, but for me personally, and for the use case I mentioned (bright sunny day), AP mode is superior and will adjust shutter to perfect exposure before anyone can even think about saying "cheese" lol. You just have to truest the camera to work for you. But I guess it's kind of like using TTL vs Manual on your flash, I still don't trust TTL and don't use it LOL, so I get what you're saying about having that control.
Brother Brandon Cole, your photography is very superb and special to me. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Peace and respect brother following your channel now great content very professional 👌
No doubt man keep doing what you doing much love
Fun! Love the video. I am team natural light. I love the look of natural light. Flash often times looks over cooked.
True. When you dont know or cannot control your light properly , you will get that type of result.
I love your work brother!! KEEP IT UP!!!! Thank you for all your vids!!!!
Absolutely
Absolutely thanks fam
Great images as always. I’m definitely getting one of those shirts too 💪🏽
Get them now
Loving your commentary at your photos!
One thing that I would like to argue is that "Faster process" as an advantage of natural light is objective, it really depends if u do post processing, as most of us do, u actually end up losing more time if u add the post process to the equation
Good thoughts. But we all know there is more post processing I feel that goes into natural light then flash.. you cant hide blemishes or anything with natural light. Editing is critical with natural light because you have to take that regular shot and turn it into something
@@BrandonColePhotography Yes, that's exactly what I've said, that the "faster process" is not actually faster as it takes a lot of time in post
Everything is beautiful! Brandon when will the test for the new Sony 300mm f2.8 lens be held?
Hope to get soon
I remember a few years back having this argument with Irene Rudnyk about why not use some OCF instead of spending 2 hours in post trying to edit the image to make it look decent .
Yes. When you work in the volume business, multiple and multiple clients, I dont have hours to spend on just one picture to put on social media. Again nothing wrong with natural light. I just prefer flash and the creativity that comes with it.
What weight is the kettle bell? Also dope images
@@JasonPrescod 25pds
I love my AD400 Pro. Having OCF is also more appealing to clients and even other photographers.
Absolutely
Awesome as always..
Flash all the way

Great Great Great Content!!!
Awesome video
Thank you
Hello I have a question about sigma 105mm and the Sony 50mm 1.2 which one is better I have a Sony A7iv
Either lens is going to give you great images with the camera that you're using. The sigma 105 is a pretty heavy lens. The Sony 50mm 1.2 has a price tag of $2,000. I cannot imagine having to carry around a heavy 105 from sigma all day. And to be honest there are many other options for a 50 mm then the 1.2 from Sony.
Great 👌
Never been a fan of natural light
We all find our grove.
Location a profoto B10 fits in my backpack and I am off.
Flash seasoned to taste is always the best
Flash, alway take a small Flash in the bag, like AD200Pro
Settings used on natural light?
I was mostly at ISO 100 F1.2 1/1600sec
@@BrandonColePhotography thank you
One disadvantage of natural light is color cast on skintones ...
Tried natural light recently and discovered that the greens from the surrounding plants got on to the subject's skintone 😢...eww
Agree
Bro we gotta see how you edit someone! Never seen you edit any photos on RUclips
LOL yea I dont do much editing on YT man. lol There are a ton of people who can do it and explain it much better then me. But when it comes to the OCF stuff on RUclips........ That's my territory.
What kind of light are you using?
600 pro
Is this the 50mm?
35mm
This seems a bit late in the day to be doing natural, light shots. Both shots are great, but the natural light shots also seem like you're just trying to mimic the ocf shots you take most of the time. Whenever a photography that generally takes more ocf shots, does these comparison videos they still come out how they like the mood for their ocf shots. Don't get me wrong love your work, i got 2 of my ocf lights based on your videos , I just feel if someone wants to shots natural light there better off learning from a photography that does that more like a irene rudnyk, or a danni diamond, and when they want to learn dope ocf photography like i did i watched your videos, and videos like FJH photography.
Well we are all natural light photographers. Some of us do more of one trait then the others. Natural light is great. If I was doing just ONLY natural light, I would've done it a little earlier in the day, however that is my point I made in the video and the restriction of natural light where you can only shoot during specific times and I disagree with that. Which is a big reason I prefer flash. I never want to be limited when I shoot. Any time of day, anywhere. Shooting natural light is not hard at all. It's the editing most of all that is the difference when it comes to the final product of natural light.
im shop
Flash Gives more flexibility
Absolutely
Presets bro. Team natural light. I’m a fantastic editor.
I appreciate it man thank you.
