Kind of going backwards here.
How?
Oh, nvm. Now I see it. 💀
If you were planning on using this with an iPad that already has the Apple Pencil for handwritten note taking, I could see how this would appear to be a step backwards. But the iPhone STILL doesn't have any stylus support, so this COULD potentially serve a useful purpose, especially if you don't have some other MagSafe accessory you already like using.
This may be the dumbest gadget I've ever seen. If you want a notebook - get a notebook. Don't make your phone bulkier with a small, ugly one and a terrible pen.
This would have been a good April Fool day video. 😂
After app developers trying to replicate all sorts of pen & paper processes we now have the hardware guys bringing back … pen and paper … the pendulum doesn’t just swing, it goes around in circles…
You can't be serious to even think of making a video like this about this product. There is only one reason behind the video, and that is money, you will never convince me otherwise
anything by moft, mous, benks etc is just sponsored. This is an advert.
I love how you’re making pen and paper seem like a revolutionary idea 😂
As someone who writes and carries around loads of analogue to-do lists daily, I can see and appreciate the usefulness of this. That said, at the end of the day and after all the initial excitement has shimmered down, this simply amounts to another gimmicky toy thingy to sink money into that looks cool but really is just another distraction and excess baggage to carry around everyday. As it is, there's already too much gadget baggage in the average everyday carry.
It's precisely the kind of stuff you buy and then start forcing usage in order to justify the purchase. Can do without it.
I see it as a supplement to my notepad. Notepad lives at home, SnapFlow lives on the phone. Transfer notes where necessary.
I want a MagSafe attached smaller phone, that attaches to my phone so I can make calls or respond to notifications without having to unlock my phone.
Wait.... You're excited about... paper? 😂
Of course! And Apple will be launching iPaper soon! 😂
I’m kidding of course, but I get what he’s saying. Maybe having the action button mapped to Notes might be just as easy?
Back to back sponsored post. I remember this guy having great thoughtful content.
I would love this for a iPad mini
Really? I already use an Apple Pencil for note taking on the iPad mini, so this would seem superfluous for use with the mini. Now for my iPhone which (grumble, grumble) STILL doesn't support a stylus, this might actually prove useful. It's intriguing enough that I decided to order via Kickstarter.
You do realise there's a phone that can do this.
I agree. There’s phones that do this already. That case is ugly and bulky. I’m sure it will end up in thrift shops.
This is actually awesome. Thanks Chris! Will try this out
get an s24 ultra with stylus
Looks like a complete dud!
What is the keyboard that your are using at starting of the video
+1 also want to know what keyboard this is
This product screamed out to me as a must so im excited to see this overview.
And an update now that my SnapFlow has arrived. I really like the SnapFlow and its design, especially the integrated, magnetized pen, which is extremely convenient. Thanks for the heads up about this Kickstarter!
Looks interesting but my concern was cost and availability of replacement notepads (apparently they only have 20 sheets apiece) and also pen refills. So I went to Kickstarter and found that notebooks (via the Kickstarter) are $9 for 16 packs of 20 pages each (total 320 sheets) and $9 for replacement pen--evidently you can't just get a pen refill that fits into the sleeve, you have to buy the whole pen + sleeve. And the Snap Flow set itself is $29. Soooooo.... in the end I decided this was intriguing enough that I decided to pledge. We'll see what it actually looks like when it arrives in September.
How about spen in s24 ultra…can use without unlocking the phone
I have been burned on two occasions by crowd-funded products. As much as this appeals to me, I cannot invest in another non-existent product that may never be manifested.
Yeah doesn’t it take the same amount of self control to use this to use your phone as note book? Also you can simply add a shortcut to your iPhone lock screen. I mean 5 years ago maybe but in 2024 I think it’s a little late.
Problem I’m left handed and this works better if you’re right handed at least if you’re right on the phone. I would probably have to take it off to use it better
you need an organizing app to organize all your organizing apps.. you know.. so you can be organized...
I think it’s great they might pay you to promote this.. notepad maybe.. the pen.. naah
Is it April 1? Really? A paper notepad? How silly. For those of us who are productive achievers, we don't go backwards. We're too busy to slow down to use something like that.
Nice video but you literally have a « note » app in your iPhone so this things looks useless… it’s like having a voice recorder with a MagSafe compatibility
I like it BuT I MagSafe charge my phone in my Tesla when I drive so its not as practical for me... STILL a great idea !
And this is how the iPhone MAX was born. 7.2 inch OLED with the new Apple Nub, a reimagined stylus. All the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen features in a tinier compact design, no bigger than a AAA battery. Cases to securely dock, sold separately. 😂
This made me think. Imagine Samsung came out with a smaller Galaxy Ultra Phone. Has all the goodies of the SUltra only difference is the pen cannot be docked. Like the Fold you need a case to hold the pen.
I really like this - I always struggle combining analog and digital to my mobile work flow.
I ordered via kickstarter
