I picked up the same exact bike today. Same color. Love it ! Never road a motorcycle until today and put 18 miles on it. Did a lot practicing with the clutch and turns.
It's been a solid bike, great for running around town. I get a lot of positive comments from everyone that sees it as well. Power is good for a small bore bike, but you will not have passing power on the highway over 70 MPH. The gas mileage is amazing and it only takes about 34 oz of motorcycle oil for a full change. Now, there are other things to take into account if you order one off the internet. You are going to be responsible for unpacking and performing the final assembly, initial fluid change, safety inspection of nuts and bolts, setting tensions on cables, and registering the bike. The right tools and patience go a long way during the process. Watching the videos gives you a glimpse of what goes into everything. I really enjoy mine, but I like building and tinkering.
@@DMan4056 It's a fun bike, but you would need to keep up with your own maintenance. It had a few little issues here and there, but for the money it is fun and the motor has been solid.
Clutch cable will rub and snap, convert to hydraulic. The injector hat, is hdpe plastic, I put a billet aluminum, 1/8th npt from the quick connect. I put exhaust wrap on my pipe
Get it powder coated black to match the color scheme. Other than that, wicked ( with or without the color change ) Actually nvm. The heat would eat it up...but if they have a special kind...DO IT!
I actually tried to buy one from a local dealership in Houston, but they had just sold their last ones. They were not going to order any newer ones and had really slashed the prices on the last few in stock. It looks to be a really nice bike, but a few of them had electrical issues after putting miles on them. The salesman I spoke with had filmed a video of one running just the week before and it sounded amazing. Their other locations sold out within a week or so of his last sale.
One other thing , EDC ,, I'm 5' 11" around 200 lbs.... is this bike just Too small for someone my size . Been thinking about using one for a commuter bike.... most speeds would be in the 55-65 range .. I don't need to use the highway , tho I could from time to time ....20 miles +/- each way .....Thanks,,,
For a pure low cost track bike, it would be fine. Lifan has a mini about the size of a Grom called the KPMini 150 which I would suggest for a 13 year old, but again for off highway use such as in one of those mini racing leagues that use gokart tracks.
@@GuCcIGaMeS I didn't have any issues buying the bike online and I got all of the paperwork in the mail within 10 days of my order. I got the bike before the paperwork, but the bike came from a warehouse in Dallas. The paperwork came from the online dealer in California. I like the fact I was able to call and speak with a salesman regarding in-stock bikes.
@@EDCKnives2020 I just ordered from them too brother. It was so difficult to get someone on the phone but when I finally did I felt comfortable placing the order, I live super from their warehouse so I believe its gonna come in 7-10 days. Do you have a link to all the accessories you ordered for this such as the filter, exhaust, brake and clutch levers. I cant find it on amazon.
@@GuCcIGaMeS The best way to find the official KPR200 parts is by searching "American Lifan" on the Amazon app. Be sure that you read through the description before you order anything as some parts for the KP mini look identical to the KPR200. Enjoy the bike and let me know how it treats you!

Been watching your videos the past couple of days. Leaning towards buying one of these in the next week or so.

@Fox Nicolas Sounds like this may be used as evidence in a future legal case but ok.

The way he said "It's been a fun bike."
I was holding my breath, expecting him to take a sledgehammer to it 😂
Thinking about buying the yellow and white . Where did you get the accessories to buy
Everything is in the American Lifan store on Amazon. It all shipped from California and only took about 4-5 days once it was put in the mail.

How's the riding position? Are you hunched over much or is it more along the lines of a standard bike riding position?
Does anyone have a source for the exhaust NOT on Amazon? The listing has been unavailable for awhile now 😞

Do u guys recommend this for my 13 year old son
Its a legal motorcycle he would not be legally allowed to ride it without a license
I would not recommend this for a 13 year old.

This color is a original color or did you paint it?
That is the original color. This is listed as the 2018 Red/Black KPR200.
